This thesis aims to present methods for comparing their use in cinema and reveal any possible correlation. Based on a comprehensive research on music and color, the use of these two elements are analyzed in two example films: Tom Ford's "Nocturnal Animals" and Nicolas Winding Refn's "The Neon Demon". As a result of the analyses, the correlations are presented. Additionally, recommendations are given on different manners of using music and color together in films or other art forms.

ÖgeThe Relationships Between Body Movement And Music In Karlheinz Stockhausen's Der Kleine Harlekin(Institute of Social Sciences, 2018) Coşkunseven, Didem ; Altınbüken, Eray ; 511437 ; Music ; MüzikThis thesis takes the work of K. Stockhausen's Der Kleine Harlekin as an important example of scenic music from twentieth century repertoire to investigate the types of relationships between body movement and music in the piece by both defining and analyzing the correspondences between the two. By trying to understand, evaluate and analyse these relationships which have been categorized as choreographic and theatrical, and their importance in the composition; I asked the question if it is possible to approach Der Kleine Harlekin as a transmedial composition piece because Stockhausen's use of body movement as a compositional media is an integral part of the piece. His use of choreography and music stands on its own and becomes complete together. They create musical meaning together. This piece and the way it is notated is a good example for the composers who want to combine body movement and music in their compositions.

The perceptual efficiency of the listeners became a significant phenomenon in music. "Space" plays an influential role in Iannıs Xenakıs music. As a result, he achieved new kinds of spatial integrations in his compositions. In the piece "Persephassa", Xenakis reaches an advanced level of creativity in percussion music literature. A hexagon shape surrounding the performers provides the special physical embodiment and special listening perception of the sounds. Notwithstanding the stationary positions of the performers, the composer simulates visualized geometrical sound shapes, their rotation, and motion through geometrical sound figures.
