Mimari Ve Peyzaj Arakesitinde Topoğrafyanın Kullanımı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, topoğrafya konusu mimari ve peyzaj arakesitinde yeniden yorumlanmaktadır. Topoğrafik mekan ilişkilerinin tasarımında bu iki disiplinin biraraya gelmesi bazı yaratıcı fırsatları sunmaktadır. Tezde tarihsel gelişim süreci içinde insanoğlunun topoğrafyayı nasıl biçimlendirdiği incelenmektedir. Ayrıca geçmişten günümüze dek topoğrafyayı biçimlendiren insanoğlu topoğrafyaya farklı anlamlar yüklemişlerdir. Bu bakımdan tarihsel süreç içinde ortaya çıkan bu anlamlar günümüz projelerinde de kendini göstermektedir. Son dönemde keskin sınırların olmadığı, yapay topoğrafya üretimi ve zemin kullanımının etkin olduğu yeraltı ve yerüstü mekanları oldukça ilgi çekmektedir. Çağdaş mimarlardan Peter Eisenman ve Tadao Ando’nun projeleri analiz edilerek topoğrafyanın biçimlendirilişi ile ilgili farklı yaklaşımları incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, çalışma peyzaj mimarlığı ve mimarlık disiplinlerinin arakesitinde, topoğrafyayı araç olarak kullanan ve farklı kültürel zeminlerde topoğrafyanın kullanım örneklerine katkıda bulunan yaklaşımları ortaya çıkarmaktadır.

In this study, the subject of topography has been interpreted at the intersection of architecture and landscape. The design of topographic space relationship provides some creative opportunities in landscape and architectural design. The thesis are examined human being how to use of topography in the process of historical progress. Besides human being have explored the different meanings of topography from past to present. These meanings are emerging in the process of historical progress which show themselves in the current projects. Recently, underground and aboveground spaces that are not sharp boundaries, producing of artificial topography and the use of ground efficently attract attentions. Different approaches to use of topography are examined through the analysis of architectural projects of Peter Esienman and Tadao Ando. Consequently, this thesis is aimed to describe the ways that at the intersection of two disiplines, landscape architecture and architecture, contribute to the formation of topography in different cultural backgrounds.
