Sürdürülebilir Kentsel Gelişmenin Sağlanması Açısından Kentsel Tarımın Rolü, “istanbul Metropoliten Alan” Örneği

Abstract

Çalışma kapsamında, İstanbul metropoliten alanında sürdürülebilir bir kentsel gelişmenin sağlanması için kentsel tarımın rolü açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda metropoliten alanda kentsel tarımı destekleyen ve yönlendiren sosyal, ekonomik, mekansal ve çevresel analizler yapılarak alanın kentsel tarım potansiyeli belirlenmiştir. Kentsel tarımı destekleyici koşullar olarak; toprak yapısı, iklimsel ve meteorolojik koşullar, tarımsal arazi kullanımı, tarımsal üretim ve istihdam yapısı ile İstanbul’un tarım konusundaki geçmişi incelenmiştir. Kentsel tarımı yönlendirici koşullar içinde ise; nüfus hızı, göç yapısı, istihdam ve işgücü durumu, işsizlik, yoksulluk oranları, eğitim durumu, arazi kullanım durumu, hava kalitesi ve atık yönetim yapısı analiz edilmiştir. Söz konusu analizlerin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda kentsel tarım için İstanbul’un gerekli koşullara sahip olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Mevcut koşullar doğrultusunda metropoliten alanda kentsel tarımın uygulanması için öneri bir kentsel tarım uygulama modeli oluşturulmuştur.

In this study, trying to explain that the role of urban agriculture for sustainable urban development. For this proposal the supportive and the director conditions for urban agriculture are examined with the socio-economic, spatial and environmental analyses. The soil features, climatic and meteorological conditions, the agricultural land use, the agricultural production scale and agricultural employment and the cultural background of İstanbul are analysed in supportive conditions. Also, the population growth, the migration structure, the employment and labor conditions, unemployment, the rate of poverty, the education structure, land use, air quality and the waste management are examined as the director conditions. The potential of İstanbul metropolitan area is found out with evaluating of these analyses. In conclusion the developing a proposal urban agriculture application model with the substantial conditions.
