Okul Öncesi Eğitim Merkezleri: Bağdat Caddesi Alan Çalışması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, okul öncesi eğitimde oluşturulan eğitim kurgusu ve mevcut mekansal özelliklerin belirtilmesi; ayrıca eğitim kurgusu içerisinde eğitimde sıkça uygulanan yaklaşımlardan faydalanma oranları ve bunların mekan kurgusundaki yansımaları incelenmiştir. Okul öncesi eğitimin tanımı, önemi ve tarihçesi; çocuk ve gelişimindeki önemi; çocuk gelişimi ve fiziksel çevre ilişkileri; çocuk gelişimi ve fiziksel çevre ilişkilerine ilişkin yaklaşımlar ele alınmıştır. Aktarılan bilgiler doğrultusunda günümüz okul öncesi eğitimi; eğitim sistemi ve mekan kurgusu ilişkisi bakımından araştırılmıştır. Bağdat Caddesi aksında bulunan okul öncesi eğitim kurumları ile yapılan alan araştırması sonucunda; okul öncesi eğitimde mevcut eğitim yaklaşımı ve bununla ilgili mekansal kurgu özellikleri ortaya konmuştur. Eğitim yaklaşımları ile ilgili yeterli bilgi düzeyinin mevcut olmadığı ve bu yaklaşımların öngördüğü prensiplerin tam olarak uygulanmadığı görülmüştür.

In this study, the structure of education and present spatial properties; the ratio of utilization from the commonly applied pre-school education approaches within the construct of education and their reflections on pre-school environment have been investigated. The definiton, the importance and the history of pre-school education; the child and the importance of pre-school education in the development of the child; related approaches of child development and physical environment relations are handled. With respect to the information given, the present state of pre-school education has been examined according to the system of the education and its relation to pre-school environment. According to the results of the survey performed with the pre-education centers in Bağdat Street axis; the present approach on pre-school education and the related spatial properties are explained. It is seen that there is lack of enough information on pre-school education approaches and the principles they anticipate are not completely utilized.
