Kübist Biçimlerden Yeni Yorumlara

Abstract

Bu çalışmam, Kübizm' in sanat tarihinde Cezanne ile başlayan sürecine ve bu süreç içinde yeni form arayışlarına doğru sürdürülen çalışmalara bir bakış açısı getirmeye dair üretim sürecidir. Üretim sürecim içindeki resimlerimde yalın ve tek renkli-monocrom- anlatım biçimlerinin beslendiği kaynaklar ele alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. İlk bölüm; Kübizm' in tanımıyla birlikte tarihsel sürecine yani Cezanne' a değinerek başlıyor. Sonrasında Kübizm'in kavramla olan ilişkisine değinilmektedir. Bununla beraber Kübistler'deki hacim anlayışı ele alınmıştır. Kübizm'deki yapılanmanın temel taşlarından bir tanesi olan biçim ve biçim algılanışı araştırmamın diğer bir aşamasını oluşturuyor. Daha sonra ise yeni form arayışlarına yönelişin ve bu yönelmeyi güçlü bir ifade biçimine dönüştüren sanatçıların üzerinde duruluyor. Bu sanatçıların başında Picasso'nun nesne çözümlemesi, Braque'in Picasso' ya paralel giden arayışları ve birbirinden bağımsız olsa da sonuç olarak aynı yönde çalışmalarını sürdüren diğer sanatçıların yaklaşımlarına ve bu yaklaşımların kendi çalışmalarıma nasıl yansıdığı üzerinde yoğunlaşılıyor. Kısaca araştırmam biçime, tek renkliliğe ve yalın ifadeye dayalı çalışmalarıma nasıl bir yön vermeme gerektiğine ilişkin sorularıma bir ölçüde cevap niteliği taşıyor. Biçimin, espasın, hacmin doğru ve yerinde kullanılması amacıyla resimlerimdeki kompozisyonları oluşturdum. Biçim karşıtlıklarının ön-arka ilişkilerini belli bir çizgide ve yönde biçim akışlarının etkilerini bulmaya, kendime ait bir kompozisyon dili oluşturmaya çalıştım. Anlatımcı ifadeler taşımak yerine biçim sorununu resimsel olarak ele almayı amaçlıyorum. Çözüm aşamasındaki hesaplaşmalarım kendiliğinden öznel bir içerik oluşturmakta, düşünülerek oluşturulan biçimler önlü arkalı, yan yana yerleştirilerek, büyük-küçük, ince-kahn gibi kendime ait bir çözümleme oluşturmaya çalışıyorum.

This study of mine, is a production process to bring a new point of view to the period which started by Cezanne in Cubism art history and the works carried on towards a new form search within this period. In my paintings within this production process, plain and single colored-monochrome- expression methods, which are fed by the resources, are taken into consideration and evaluated. First section; together with the definition of Cubism, opens with the discussion of its' historical process, which means Cezanne. Afterwards, the relation of Cubism with the concept is discussed. Together with this, the volume comprehension of Cubists are considered. Form, which is one of the milestones of the structuring in Cubism, and the perception of the form is another stage of my study. After this, direction towards new form searches and the artists, which turn this search into a strong expression form, is considered. The concentration is on, Picasso's object analysis among these artists, Braque's searches which are parallel to Picasso and even they are independent of each other, the approaches of other artists, which are within this direction, and how these approaches are reflected on my own works. In short, my research has the quality of a reply, in a degree, to my questions concerning how should I direct my works, which are based on form, single color and plain expression. I formed the compositions in my paintings with the purpose of correct and in-place usage of the form, space, volume. I tried to find the front-back relations of form conflicts, the effects of the form flow in a specific line and direction and to form a composition language belonging to myself. In stead of carrying descriptive expressions, I am aiming to consider visually the problem of form. My evaluations, which are at the stage of solution, are forming a subjective content by itself. Settling the forms, which are formed by thinking, front-back, side by side, I am trying to form an analysis, such as big-small thin-thick, belonging to myself
