Antakya Kenti Eski Doku İçinde Tipolojik Analiz

Abstract

Bu çalışmada; tarihi boyunca birçok uygarlığın yaşamış olması nedeni ile, bu uygarlıkların dil, din, ırk, kültür, sosyal yaşam ve mimari özelliklerini alarak zengin bir tarihi geçmişe sahip olan ve bunların paralelinde biçimlenen Antakya Kenti tipolojik analiz bağlamında incelenmiştir. Antakya’nın mimari yapısı sokak ve konut bağlamında incelenmiş, Antakya Evleri’nin tipolojik analizi yapılmıştır. Yöreye has olan birtakım ögeler konut içi ve konut dışı ögeler olmak üzere incelenmiştir. Daha önce de pek çok kez araştırılmış olan Antakya kenti, tipolojik olarak incelenmediğinden, bu çalışmada kentte tipolojik analiz bağlamında bir çalışma yapılması uygun görülmüş, çalışma fotoğraflar ve çizimlerle desteklenmiştir. Çalışma yapılırken sit alanı içinde bulunan Gazipaşa ve Zenginler Mahalleleri örnek olarak seçilmiş ve analizler de bu alanlarda yapılmıştır.

In this dissertation, the City of Antakya has been studied in relation with a typological analysis because it has a splendid historical past since many civilizations have settled here during the past and the city has been formed parallel to the languages, religions, races, cultures, social lives and architectural characteristics of these civilizations. The architectural structure of Antakya has been studied in relation with streets and houses; the Antakya Houses have been analyzed. In the houses, all of which have a plan scheme with yard, the location of the yard in the plan, street and yard facades, doors, windows, balconies and roofs have been examined. The facade, door and window analysis are supported with drawings. The City of Antakya, that has been subject to many studies previously, was not studied typologically; therefore it was deemed more appropriate that the study in the dissertation is made typologically and the dissertation is supported with drawings and photographs. Gazipaşa and Zenginler Quarters that are in the natural reservation area have been taken as examples during the study and the analysis were made in these areas.
