Batı Paralelinde Günümüz Türkiyesi Mimarlık Ortamı Sorunlarına Yönelik Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Türkiye mimarlık ortamındaki yapısal çevre problemlerine dikkat çekmek amacıyla yapılan çalışmada, düşünsel ortam, uygulama, yapı endüstrisi, eğitim ve iletişim alanlarındaki gelişmeler, toplumsal, politik ve ekonomik olaylar çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Günümüz problemlerini görebilmek için mimarlık, tarihsel süreç içinde, Endüstri Devrimi’nden 21.yy’a, Batı mimarlık ortamındaki gelişmeler parelelinde incelenmiştir. Böyle bir ele alışla hem Batı’daki ilerlemelerin Türkiye mimarlık düşünce ve pratiğine, mesleki formasyon gelişimine, mimari üretim ve tanıtım süreçlerine yansımaları, hem de ülkenin kendi sosyo-ekonomik koşulları içinde mimari faaliyetlerinde ortaya çıkan problemler birarada değerlendirilmiştir. Türkiye Mimarlığı’nın modernleşme sürecinde, geçmişten günümüze kadar taşıdığı, bugün de sürdürmekte olduğu problemlerinin, başlıca üç nedenden; eğitim ve formasyon yetersizliği, iletişim eksikliği, işleyiş ve uygulamadaki aksaklıklardan kaynaklandığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Tezin son bölümünde, bir bina örneği üzerinden, Türkiye’de iyi bir yapı yapmanın hangi şartlarda gerçekleşebileceğinin cevabı aranmış, mimarlıkta sorun olarak öne çıkan noktaların (eğitim, iletişim, işleyiş) düzelmesiyle bütünsel anlamda nitelikli yapısal çevrelere sahip olunabileceği vurgulanmak istenmiştir.

In this thesis, in order to attract attention to the problems of built environment in Turkey, intellectual milieu, fields of practice, industry of construction, education and communication, were considered with the social, political, economical conditions. Owing to perceive today’s problems, architecture was studied parallel with the developments of Western Architectural Milieu in the historical process from the Industrial Revolution up to 21st century. The effects of development of Western Architectural Milieu in the progress of intellectual, practical, professional formation and process of products and introduction of Turkish Architecture, and also the problems appeared in architectural activities with the social and economical conditions of Turkey are both evaluated. It was seen that, in the process of modernization of Turkish Architecture, the problems carried from the past were still existed, and they were consisted of insufficiency of education, formation, lack of communication, and disruption in practice. In the last part of the thesis, an answer was tried to give to the question: “how a good building can be made?” by the help of an example of a building. As a conclusion it was emphasized that, if the problems of Turkish architecture (in education, communication and practice) were overcame, we might have qualified built environment.
