Okul Öncesi Eğitiminde Dalcroze Yaklaşımı

Abstract

Bu çalışma; İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Müzikoloji ve Müzik Teorisi Anabilim Dalı, Müzikoloji ve Müzik Teorisi Programı'nda; ?Okul Öncesi Eğitiminde Dalcroze Yaklaşımı? konulu doktora tezi olarak hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı; Emile Jaques Dalcroze yaklaşımını inceleyerek, bu yaklaşım doğrultusunda hazırlanmış ve deneysel olarak uygulanmış örnek çalışmaların okul öncesi müzik eğitiminde kullanılmasıdır. Bu tez çalışması; Emie Jaques Dalcroze yaklaşımının genel prensiplerini ortaya koyması ile ve tez çalışması için uygulamada kullanılan müziklerin ve hikâyelerin Emile Jaques Dalcroze yaklaşımına uygun olarak bestelenmiş ve üretilmiş tamamen yeni bir materyal olarak sunulması bakımından önem teşkil etmektedir. Çalışma, ilişkide olduğu tüm disiplinlere katkı sağlayabilmesi ve beraberinde getireceği birçok konuyu tartışmaya açması bakımından yapılmıştır.

This thesis was prepared in the partial fulfillment of the requirements for a doctorate degree at the Social Sciences Institute of Istanbul Technical University, Department of Musicology and Music Theory, Programme of Musicology and Music Theory. The aim of this work is to study Emile Jacques Dalcroze?s approach (in music education) and in the light of his teachings create educational materials which can be used in pre-school music education. The present thesis is of critical importance with regard to the fact that it introduces the major principles of the Dalcroze approach and the fact that it offers original musical pieces and stories composed in the light of the Dalcroze approach. It is expected that the present study will contribute to all related disciplines and encourage new discussions in interdisciplinary studies.
