dc.description.abstract | The research has been carried out in order to put forward how "bağlama" has been produced so for and how an approach that integrates the scientific principles- in the production af "bağlama" should be. For this pur pose, a guestionnair has given out to 10 "bağlama" pro ducers in Istanbul» And they were observed and intervi ewed, Besides, with a literature review, how "bağlama" has been produced up to now was described. As a result of certain experiments and implementations carried out in the Instrument Building of Department Turkish Music State of Conservatoire Î.T.Ü. ît has been put forth how the sound board, the body, and the sound bridge of "bağ lama" should be produced with a modern scientific appro ach. It has been concluded that real success of a "bağ lama" producer today is dependend upon the anatomic structure of the wood used, the form and the size of the instrument, and his adjustment of the thickness of the body and the sound board. Furthermore all of these things have to be done with high guality and with an aesthetic approach. The "bağlamas", which do not have spesific sys tem, are completely different from one an other in terms of shape and size. These differences come problems in performing, interpreting and teaching and learning has to play it. It is thought that there is an elose relation ship between the solution of the problems about the pro duction of "bağlama" and the decreasing of the problems and the solution of the abovementioned problems. | en_US |
