Bursa İli Gemlik İlçesi Umurbey Beldesi Çırganlar Evi İçin Restorasyon Önerisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Bursa İli, Gemlik İlçesi, Umurbey Beldesi nde bulunan, Çırganlar Evi olarak adlandırılan, ahşap yapı grubu için bir restorasyon önerisi getirilmiştir. Öneri, yapıların sağlamlaştırılmasının yanı sıra, niteliksiz eklerin ve malzemenin temizlenmesi, yok olmuş mimari elemanların tamamlanması ve yapıya uygun yeni bir işlevin getirilmesi maddelerini de içermektedir. Çalışmanın son aşaması olan restorasyon önerisine ulaşana kadar yerleşmenin mimari dokusunu oluşturan yapılar ve işlevleri incelenmiş, ahşap ve kerpiç yapıların yoğunlukta olduğu yerleşmede mekansal kurguların gelişiminde halkın geçim kaynağı olan zeytincilik ve ipekböcekçiliğinin etkileri saptanmıştır. Bu bağlamda Umurbey Beldesi çevresindeki yerleşmeler, benzerlik ve farklılıkları gözlemleyerek karşılaştırma yapmak amacıyla incelenmiş ve sonuçları restitüsyon ve restorasyon çalışmalarına yansıtılmıştır. Çalışma konusu olan Çırganlar Evi nin yerleşmenin en eski ve özellikli yapılarından biri olduğu görülmüş, korunması ve belgelenerek gelecek nesillere aktarılması gerektiğine karar verilmiştir.

In this study, a restoration project is suggested for the Çırganlar House which is made of timber frame, and located in the town of Umurbey. The content of the project is improving the structural condition of the house, taking out the supplementary pieces, cleaning the materials, reconstructing the lost parts and suggesting a new function for the Çırganlar House. In the first stage of the study, the useful data is obtained by researching traditional civil architecture in town and nearby towns. It is seen that working with olive, olive oil and silkworm has effects in the development of physical and social environment. The results of this study is used in restitution and restoration projects. The Çırganlar House is one of the oldest and the most important houses of the town of Umurbey. It is decided to produce an architecturally, statically and technically applicable project; this presenting and example for the conservation and functional continuity of cultural heritage.
