Yaşam Döngüsüne Bağlı Olarak Konut Tasarımını Etkileyen Faktörler

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, teknolojik ve ekonomik gelişmelere paralel olarak sosyo-kültürel yaşamın hızlı bir şekilde değişmesi, yaşam şartlarının farklılaşması, kullanıcı karakteristiklerinin çeşitlenmesi, aile kavramının değişmesi ve konut içinde gelişen eylemlerin farklılaşmasının konut tasarımına yansıması ele alınmıştır. Konut kullanıcısı bir aile olarak ele alındığında, tüm yaşam sürecinde gelişen her eyleme uyum sağlayabilecek konut için birtakım tasarım kriterleri ile bu kriterleri mekansal esneklik açısından konuta uyarlayabilmek araştırılmıştır. İdeal konut, sosyal tasarım ve tasarımda esneklik kavramlarıyla bazı tasarım örnekleri incelenerek bir alan çalışması yapılmıştır. İstanbul örneğinde yapılan bu alan çalışması ile aynı plan ve büyüklükteki konut birimini farklı tipteki ailelerin kullanış biçimi ve mekanı kendi yaşam döngülerine göre şekillendirişleri saptanmıştır. Bu çalışma ile konuta ve içindeki mekanlara bir sınırlama getirilmeye, ideal büyüklüğü belirleyip aynı tip konut üretilmesine çalışılmamıştır, aksine kullanışsız ve yetersiz mekanların üretilmesini engellemede tasarımlar için kullanıcının demografik yapısı, yaşam döngüsü ve bu döngülerdeki ihtiyaçları tanımlanmıştır.

In this study, factors effecting the house design, such as rapid changes in socio-cultural life in parallel to the technological and economical developments, differentiation in living conditions, diversification of user characteristics, changes in the family concept and the activities taking place in houses are examined. When the occupants of the house are considered as a family, design criteria that would satisfy all the requirements of the conditions developing in the life cycle, and adaptation of these criteria to the house in the form of space flexibility are examined. Using the concepts of the ideal house, social design and design flexibility, some design examples are studied and a field study is carried out. In the field study carried out in Istanbul, the ways of using the same dwelling unit with the same plan, size and shaping the space according to their own life cycles of different family types are examined. With this study, the aim is neither to limit the dwellings and the spaces within nor to define the ideal area and produce the same type of houses, rather the aim is to hinder the production of useless and insufficient spaces, by defining the demographic structure, life cycle and various requirements of the occupants for the design phase.
