Tatil Amaçlı Konaklama Tesislerinde Zamana Bağlı Değişim Ve Tüketim – Antalya Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada tatil amaçlı konaklama tesislerinde zamana bağlı değişim ve tüketim Antalya örneğinde incelenmiş, sonuçta konaklama tesisi tasarım problemine daha bilinçli yaklaşmayı sağlayacak öneriler geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır. 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren kitle turizmi hızla yaygınlaşmış, turist profili, değişmiş, turistin talep ve beklentileri artmış ve tüketim kültürü egemen hale gelmiştir. Bu süreçte dünyada ekonomik, siyasal, sosyal, kültürel ve organizasyonel değişimler yaşanmış, mimarlık anlayışı ve mimari eğilimler değişmiş, konaklama tesisleri de bu değişimlere uyum sağlamak üzere gelişmiş ve farklılaşmıştır. Son yıllarda turizmde yaşanan büyük gelişmeler sonucunda Antalya’da bulunan tatil amaçlı konaklama tesislerinin sayısının hızla arttığı, tüketiciye sunulan aktivitelerin çeşitlendiği ve tesislerde büyük değişimlerin yaşandığı gözlenmektedir. Bölgede yapılan alan çalışmasında, tatil amaçlı konaklama tesislerinde meydana gelen mekansal değişimler analiz edilerek, sebep ve sonuçları değerlendirilmiş, değişim ve tüketimin hangi alanlarda yoğunlaştığı tespit edilmiş ve tasarlama problemine bu öngörü ve bilinçle yaklaşılmasını sağlayacak öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

In this study, time dependent transformation and consumption of the resort hotels is explored on a case study about Antalya and as a result it is aimed to develop new proposals in order to build up a more conscious approach for the design process of these buildings. Starting from the second half of the 20th century, mass tourism has started to spread; the profile of the tourists, the expectations and demands of them have altered and consumption has become dominant. In this period, there have been many changes in economical, political, social, cultural and organizational fields. Dependently, the architectural tendencies have changed. In order to cope with these, resort hotels have also changed and developed. As a consequence of the developments in the field of tourism, it can be clearly seen that the number of resort hotels in Antalya has increased rapidly and the activities they offer has become assorted. In the site survey of this region, by analyzing the spatial transformations in resort hotels, the reasons and results of these changes are evaluated, the spaces are explored which are consumed and transformed intensively, and proposals are developed to build up a more conscious approach for the design process.
