Özet
Bu çalışmada, Isparta ili Şarkikaraağaç ilçesi çevresinde bulunan barit yataklarının oluşum mekanizması araştırılmıştır. Genel olarak kireçtaşları ile şistler, kalkşistler ve metamorfik birimler içerisinde yer alan barit yatakları incelenmiştir. Boyutlardaki damarlar ve katmansı yapılar şeklinde gözlenen barit oluşumları tabakalara uyumlu arazi yapıları göstermektedir. Barit oluşumlarında gözlenen en önemli özellik yer yer içerdikleri yüksek oranda kurşun varlığıdır. Bu nedenle oluşum mekanizmasında hidrotermal aktivitenin olası etkisinin araştırılması incelememizin ana noktası olmuştur. Dört ayrı bölgede örneklemeler yapılarak, oluşum kökeni hakkında veri alınabilecek mineralojik-petrografik ve jeokimyasal incelemeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Baritlerde ikiz yapılar, granoblastik dokular, kıvrım ve kırıklanmalar, ikincil baritler tespit edilmiştir. Majör ve minör element içerikleri, elementler arası korelasyonlar, söz konusu dört ayrı bölgede ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır. Elde edilen veriler bölgenin genel jeolojisi ve tektonik gelişimi ile beraber değerlendirildiğinde, bölgedeki barit oluşumlarının KB-GD doğrultusunda aşamalı bir cevherleşme evrimi geçirdiği ve bu özellikleri ile Mississipi Tipi bir cevherleşme olduğu düşüncesi kazanmıştır.
In this study, the formation mechanism of barite occurrences deposited around Şarkikaraağaç village (Isparta city) was investigated. Barite occurrences which had been deposited within limestones schists, calkschists, metamorphic units were evaluated. Barite occurrences exhibit stratabound properties in general. Various level thicknesses, folding and fracturing systems are the main geological properties. The most outstanding determination is the presence of high lead contents in barite occurrences particularly in NW part of the basin. Therefore, our study is focused on a probable hydrothermal activity which is responsible for the formation of barite occurrences. The minerologjcal–petrographical and geolochemical researches and analyses were held and statical evaluations of the results were carried out. Twining structures, granoblastic tectures, macro folding and fractures in barites, primary and secondary barite crystales were observed. Major and minor element contents, elementary correlations were done in all four areas. All observations and determined results were evaluated under the geological and tectonic evalution of the area. As a result, it is postulated that Isparta Şarkikaraağaç barite occurrences had been deposited and settled down under the effect of multi-periodic ore formation proseses which had been developed in a NW-SE direction by the control of the concentrated solution of a probable MVT type deposites.
