Çocukların Kentsel Korumaya Katılımı

Abstract

Kültürel değerlerin zenginliği açısından dünyanın en önemli coğrafyasında yer alan ülkemizde bu değerlerin korunmasında ciddi sorunlar yaşanmaktadır. Tarihi çevreler günümüzde bakımsızlık, terk edilme, rant baskısı gibi çeşitli tehlikelerle karşı karşıyadır. Kimi kent dokuları terk edilip yıkılmaya mahkum edilirken, kimi kent dokuları yeni imar ve bayındırlık isteklerine boyun eğmek zorunda kalmakta ve tarihi doku değişip yok olmaya mahkum edilmektedir. Bu noktada, tarihi dokuyu oluşturan bileşenlerin sürekli bakımını sağlamak, tahribini en aza indirecek çözümler üretmek ve bu amaca hizmet edecek en iyi koruma politikasını saptamak kültürel mirasın yaşamı açısından önem kazanmaktadır. Özellikle tarihi çevrede yaşayanların bu çevreyi tahrip etmeden geleceğe aktarmalarını sağlayacak istek ve biliçte olmaları gerekmektedir. Bunun için gerekli olan çözüm temel eğitimde yani çocukluk döneminde başlamalıdır. Bu tez çalışması kapsamında; tarihi çevrelerin korunmasında sürdürülebilirliğin sağlanması amacıyla çocuk katılımı üzerinde durulmuş, çocukların böyle bir konuda görüşlerini hangi yollarla ifade edebilecekleri araştırılmış, onları bunaltmadan nasıl bir süreç takip edilmesi gerektiği anlatılmıştır.

Turkey, which is stated in the world s most important geography in terms of richness of the cultural values, experiences serious problems. Today, historical areas face various dangers such as neglect, being abandoned and rant press. While some historical areas are being abandoned and destined to be destroyed, some historical areas are submitted new zone plan and public works so these areas are awarded come to grief. At this point, to provide the care for components which form the historical areas, finding solutions to minimize the destruction of them and determining the best protection policies which will serve to this task have gained importance in terms of the survival of the cultural heritage. Above all, people, who live in these historic areas, should have the desire and consciousness to transform these areas to the future without destroying them. The solution for the state should embark in “basic study” or in other words childhood. As part of this thesis work, in order to provide the sustainability in protection of the historical circles, the participation of the children is stressed and their ways to connote about the related subject are studied. Furthermore, the way of following the process without overwhelming them is expressed.
