Çorlu'daki Rekreasyon Alanlarının Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Rekreasyon insanların çalışma dışı boş zamanlarında gerçekleştirdikleri fiziksel ve ruhsal yapılarım geliştirici, zevk veren ve gelir getirme kaygısından uzak faaliyetlerdir. Kentleşme ve sanayileşmenin parelelinde rekreasyon alanlarına duyulan ihtiyaç gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Tezin amacı son yıllarda kentleşme ve sanayileşmenin etkisi ile hızlı bir değişim sürecine giren Çorlu kentinde, artan nüfusun boş vakitlerini değerlendirebileceği rekreasyon alanlarının yeterlüiğinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde konunun kapsamına yer verilmektedir. İkinci bölümde, rekreasyon kavramı üzerinde durulmuş rekreasyonun ve rekreasyon alanlarının türlerine ve rekreasyon alanları ile ilgili normlara yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise Çorlu kenti ile ilgili fiziki, sosyal, demografik verilerin yanında kentin 1991 yılında yapılan revizyon imar planı incelenmiş ve plandaki mevcut ve gelişme alanındaki fonksiyon alanları standartlarla karşılaştırılarak ne oranda yeterli oldukları incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise kentte yaşayanların boşzamanlanm değerlendirebilecekleri yeşil, spor ve oyun alanlarına duydukları gereksinimleri yerinde yapılan anket çalışmaları ile tespit edilmiştir. Beşinci ve son bölümde ise yapılan çalışma ile ilgili sonuçlara yer verilmektedir.

Recreation is the activities which give pleasure to the people and make them more active and relaxed. In that activities there is no ambition of making money. Recreation areas are places where people can relax or find amusement. People come to these places in order to get free from daily stress and to spend a different day or couple of hours. Nowadays most of our cities face the dangers of rapid population growth and stretching of residential area. In spite of these dangers municipalities turn existing recreational areas into residential and industrial areas instead of providing people with necessary recreation areas. We should solve environmental issues, and in order to create recreational areas where people can breath, relax and be free off their stress, we should find out what has been achieved by former planing and individual efforts and determine the position in which we should have been. Kinds Of Recreational Areas: Relaxing Areas * Forests * Groves * Nurseries * Cemeteries Parks * Regional Parks * National Parks XI * City Parks * Local Parks Sports Areas * The places which every kind of sports can done. * Stadium * Ground for firing practice * Race courts * Athletics Areas Playing Grounds * Sand boxes for children between 0 to3 years old * Playing grounds for children between 3 too years old * Playing grounds with tools for children between 7 to 12 years old * Sports areas for teenagers. Characteristics Of Recreational Facilities : * Recreational facilities are the parts of life. * Recreational facilities come into being like a necessity and the individual directs them * These facilities are make in leisure time * Recreational facilities are connected to people's social, economical and psycological structures. * Recreational facilities aren't a must. * When people make recreational facilities find amusement * By doing these facilities people can be connected to life. * Recreational facilities may be planned. According to the principles of city planning, recreation areas which make people get free from daily stress and spent the leisure times are so important. In a city active and passive recreation areas must be 34 % of whole settlement place. When we get it, people who live in our city, whould be more happy and succesful. xu The town of Çorlu selected as our study case, has served as a military and administrative city for a long time as strategic places and military areas occupied most part of the town. But after immigration has started after 1970 and after more than a hundered industrial enterprises has been settled in the city especially after 1980 the town's function changed and it developed into an industrial town. That is the reason why we have chosen Çorlu as a study case. The city population increased in last ten year but what would happened to recreational areas, they are also increased or not?What are the people's need in Çorlu? How are they spend their free time? The study consists of five parts: Part one is the introductory section describing the study subject and its aim. The second part includes general definitions, principles and standards about recreation areas. In part three physical, social, economic and administrative information is given about our study case Çorlu. The fourth part includes public polls which have been made in order to determine the requirement of recreation in the town. Part five includes the conclusion which determines the types, numbers and size of recreation areas which should be provided.
