Türk Mimarisinde Postmodern Dönemde Tarihselci Ve Yöreselci Bakış

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türk mimarisinde Postmodern dönemle birlikte artan Tarihselci ve Rejyonalist eğilimler incelenmiştir. Bu eğilimleri ortaya çıkaran nedenler ve Postmodernizmle ilişkisi araştırılmış, “geçmişten yararlanma” tutumunun Ulusal Mimarlık dönemleri ile karşılaştırması yapılmıştır. Postmodern dönemle birlikte etkinlik kazanan Popüler kültür ile etkileşim içinde olan dönem mimarisi, tarihsel geçmişten yararlanırken, Ulusal mimarlık dönemlerine göre daha esnek ve biçimsel zenginlik yaratma amaçlı bir tutum geliştirmiştir. Çeşitlilik ve çoğulculuk arayışlarının etkin olduğu dönem içerisinde biçim arayışı ve bireysel ifade ön plandadır. Çeşitli Rejyonalist eğilimler çerçevesinde kurgulanan tasarım söylemlerinde etkin olan biçimci yaklaşım Ulusal mimarlık dönemleri ile benzerlik gösterse de, bu dönemde diğerlerine kıyasla daha parçalı ve nostaljik duygulardan bağımsız bir tarihsel değerlendirme süreci sözkonusudur. Böyle bir süreç, teknik ayrıntıların daha az gözetildiği ve serbest biçim denemelerine olanak veren bir mimari oluşmasına neden olmuştur.

In this study, Historical and Regionalist tendencies increasing with Postmodern period in Turkish Architecture have been reviewed. Reasons revealing this tendencies and their relations with Postmodernism have been searched, the behavior of “benefiting from the past” has been compared with National Architectural periods. Architecture of the period, being in interaction with popular culture having effectiveness in Postmodern period, while it was benefiting from historical past, has developed a behavior aiming to create richness which is more flexible and formal than National Architectural periods. In the period in which searches for variety and pluralism are effective, form search and individual expression come to the fore. Although formal approach which is effective in conception expressions arranged around various Regionalist tendencies is similar to National Architectural periods, a historical evaluation process become a current issue which is made up of more piecess and more independent from nostalgic feelings than the others. This period has caused formation of an architecture giving opportunity to free form experiments and in which technical details have been into consideration less.
