Dünya Da Ve Türkiye De Lojistik Eğitimi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, çok farklı alandan konuları içeren lojistik ve tedarik zinciri yönetimi konusundaki eğitim yaklaşımları incelenmiştir. Bu farklı konular günümüz işletmelerinin bu alanda çalışacak profesyonellerden bekledikleri özellikleri değiştirmiş, çoğaltmıştır. Bu kapsamda öncelikle dünya genelinde üniversitelerdeki lojistik ve tedarik zinciri yönetimi programlarının varlığı incelenmiştir. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda elde edilen verilere göre üniversitenin mevcut bulunan lojistik eğitimi ekollerinden hangisini benimsemiş olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bununla beraber ülkemizde mevcut lojistik ve tedarik zinciri yönetimi programları da incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda lojistik ve tedarik zinciri yönetimi eğitimin dünyadaki durumuna bakılarak Türkiye için çeşitli öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

Logistics courses or areas of educational needs are various. In this research, we have investigated the courses and programs in universities in the World. Traditionally, educating Logistics Professionals has been the province of business schools at major universities. A different program for educating Logistics Professionals may be derived from examining engineering educational models. And there are two main approaches to organize a logistics departments or programs, stovepipe and cross-disciplinary. This research could show the general models that accepted in different countries and we could examine the organizational structure of logistics departments. At the end we could have an opportunity to benchmark Turkey’s situation.
