| tr_TR |
dc.description.abstract | Turbulent Transfer Method (TTM), a method appeared from last three decades as results of the latest developments in the micrometeorology, and a method considering the stratification of the atmosphere into layers, has been used effectively in the determination of refraction errors in the terrestrial geodetic measurements since 1980. Due that Global Positioning System (GPS) have replaced terrestrial geodetic measurements techniques for a decade, TTM did not find a common application area to be used for the aim of refraction error determination. From this point of view, this study which uses TTM for this purpose is the one of the first studies in the world. In this study, determination of refraction errors in the terrestrial geodetic measurements (EDM, vertical angles measurements, precise levelling measurements) using TTM, has been aimed, and results obtained in the Ankara GPS Test Network have been shown. Necessary parameters required by TTM have been calculated with the surface model parameters, which were based on the modelling of historical meteorology station measurements, as a function of time and position. So that, by calculating model coefficients related to TTM parameters for the time and the position where the geodetic measurements were carried out, it has been possible that refraction errors can be removed from new geodetic measurements as well as old measurements. | en_US |
