Çelik Üretim Sürecinde Yalınlık Düzeyinin Değerlendirilmesine İlişkin Bir Yöntem Önerisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, çelik sektöründeki bir şirketin yalın üretimi uygulamadaki başarısını sorgulayabilecek bir fabrika değerlendirme aracı oluşturulmuştur. Değerlendirme aracını oluşturken yalın üretimin ana unsurları ve araçları öncelikli olarak irdelenmiştir. Ardından, kesikli üretim için geliştirilmiş mevcut fabrika değerlendirme araçları incelenmiş ve karşılaştırılarak avantajları ve deavantajları ortaya konmuştur. Takibinde, proses endüstrisinin klasik örneklerinden biri olan çelik sektörünün yapısal özellikleri ile yalın üretim araçlarının sentezi yapılmıştır. Böylece, belirli yalın üretim unsurlarının uygulanabilirliğinin test edildiği bir değerlendirme aracı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu değerlendirme aracı, içeriğindeki AHP tabanlı ağırlıklandırma desteği ile, çelik sektöründe faaliyet gösteren entegre tesislerden soğuk işlem ağırlıklı çelik üreticilerine kadar birçok tesiste kullanılabilir esnek bir yapı taşımaktadır.

In this study, a lean assessment tool has been designed which questions the success of lean implementation in a company in the steel industry. In order to design the assessment tool, the main principles and tools of lean production were investigated. Afterwards the assessement tools designed for discrete manufacturig were compared. Then, a combination of lean production and the steel industry which is a classical example for the process industry was made. So, an assessment tool to question the certain characteristics of lean production just for the steel industry was created. This assessment tool has a flexible structure maintained by using weights determined with the help of AHP, which allows to make the assessment in a wide range of companies leading from the companies producing molten steel up to companies which are working with the cold forming of steel.
