Bilgi Yönetiminin Teknoloji Assimilasyon Sürecinde Rolü

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, istatistiksel analiz yöntemleri kullanılarak Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren 47 firmadan alınan bilgilere dayanarak anket veri toplama yöntemiyle bilgi yönetiminin teknoloji asimilasyon sürecindeki rolü incelenmiştir. Yapılan istatistiksel testler sonucunda bilgi yönetimi faktörlerinin teknoloji asimilasyon sürecinde en önemli etkenlerden biri oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır. Teknolojiyi transfer olduğu çevreye adapte etme sürecinde bilgi yönetimi faktörlerinin teknolojinin özellikleri, çevre koşullarını ve organizasyon özellikleri göz önünde bulundurularak yürütülen asimilasyon süreci faaliyetlerine etki bakımından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklar göstermediği ortaya konmuştur. Ancak göreli etkinlikler söz konusu olduğunda asimilasyon sürecinde içinde bulunulan safhanın hedefleri ve ihtiyaçları ile doru orantılı olarak bilgi yönetimi faktörlerinin yürütülen faaliyetlere bağlı olarak farklı roller üstlendikleri görülmüştür. Çalışmanın ortaya koyduğu sonuç bilgi yönetiminin teknolojinin transfer edildiği çevreye adaptasyon sürecinde önemli bir etken olduğu ancak yürütülen faaliyetlere bağlı olarak bilgi yönetimi faktörleri arasında göreli etkinlik farkları olabileceği olmuştur.

In this study statistical analysis methods are used to identify the role of knowledge management in technology assimilation process. The data from 47 firms which are operating in Turkey was obtained through questionnaires. According to the results of the statistical tests conducted by SPSS statistical programme, it is figured out that knowledge management activities are one of the very important factors in technology assimilation process. In the process of adapting the technology to the environment it is transferred to, knowledge management factors do not significant differences in means of their impact in particular technology assimilation activities which are oriented to technology context, environmental context or the organization context of the transfer mechanism. However, the statistial results indicate that when knowledge management factors are compared with each other due to their degree of effectiveness in particular technology assimilation activities, they tend to differ from each other. This refers to that the knowledge management factors may take relatively different roles in activities due to the objectives and needs of the phase.
