Kapı / Giriş Mekanı, Anlam Ve Tasarımı İçin Tipolojik Araştırma. 19. Yüzyıl Beyoğlu (pera) Örneği

Abstract

“Batı’ ya açılma politikası” içinde 19.yy yapılarına ait kapı ve giriş mekanlarının Beyoğlu-Pera bölgesi esas alınarak incelenmesidir. Batıya açılmış kentlerde değişimin kapı öğesi üzerinden giderek nasıl bir anlam ve biçim edindiğini gözlemeye çalıştım. “Kapı” öğesinin biçimlenmesine, tarih içindeki biçimsel ve işlevsel değişimine ve anlamına değindim. Çalışmam içinde “Kapı ve Giriş mekanlarının” hem kavramsal olarak tanımlamaya hem de oluşumunu etkileyen kültürel, sosyal, psikolojik ve fiziksel faktörlerin önemine değinilmiştir. Çalışma fotoğraf ve çizimlerle desteklenmiş, örnekler üzerinde envanter çalışması yapılmıştır. Kapı, mekanın varlığını, mekan da ona açılan kapının niteliğini etkiler. Kullanıcı ise doğrudan kapı ve mekandan etkilenir ve etkiler.

The main topic of thesis is observing the 19th century buildings’ doors and doorways within the Beyoğlu-Pera location in the “westernization policy”. I tried to observe how did the changes in thewesternized cities gain a meaning and structure. I pointed out the structural and the functional changeand the meaning of the “door” within the history. Itried to define the “door and the doorways”conceptually and also streesed the cultural,social,pschological and the physical factors that affectedtheir formation. This studies caring photos, drawings and typologic work. Door effects the existence of the palce and place effects the features of the door that is opening into it. The users are directly effected by door and the place and also effect them.
