Yönetim bilişim sistemi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, yönetim bilişim sistemleri ve bu sistemlerin yönetime olan katkısı incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla birinci bölüm, yönetim ve sistem kavramlarının açıklığa kavuşturulmasına ayrılmıştır. Yöneticinin sistem teorisinden yararlanma ve organizasyonun bütünleştirilmesinde sistem yaklaşımını uygulamak zorunluluğu mevcut bilişim sistemlerinin büyük olasılıkla yeniden tasarlanmalarını gerektirmektedir. ikinci bölümde, öncelikle yönetim bilişim sistemlerinde odak noktası olan "bilgi" ve "veri" kavram ele alınmış ve daha sonra yönetim bilişim sistemi tanımına geçilmiştir. Yine bu bölümde YBS öğeleri, temel unsurları, işletme içinde fonksiyonu ve işletmedeki bilişim düzeyleri açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. üçüncü bölümde ise YBS organizasyonda tasarlanması, uygulanması ve değerlendirilmesi aşamaları belirtilmiştir. Genel tasarım felsefesi üzerinde durularak, başarılı sistem geliştirilmek için organizasyonda bulunması gerekli koşullar belirtilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde temel ve alt bilişim sistemlerinin tanımı yapılmış ve ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Beşinci bölümde, orta ölçekli bir sanayi kuruluşu tanıtılarak, yönetim bilişim sistemi kurulması aşamaları anlatılmıştır. Yöneticilerin bilgi ihtiyacının yeterli, doğru ve zamanında karşılamamanın ortaya çıkardığı aksaklıkların bertaraf edilmesi şarttır. Bu nedenle yönetim bilişim sisteminin uygulanması kaçınılmazdır. Firmada bu eksiklikten yola çıkılarak hazırlanan bu çalışma kısmen faaliyete girmiş durumdadır.

Involvement in the effective design and use of computer- based information systems is essential for the managers. To be most effective systems must be designed for the requirements of the managers-user- Too off there is a communication gap between managers who are too busy uninterested or unwilling to become directly involved on the one har, and on the other, the consultant who is more usually engrossed in the special nature of the system. Objective of the work is to explain what management information systems are, and how to establish of a management information system. The first chapter gives definition about management and system concipts. Managers must get help from system theory and use system approach to gather organisations. After that they will feel they must review existing management information system and also to plan new management information system. The second chapter explains "information" and "data" terms which are most important terms in management information systems. Then management information systems definition is given. In organisations all departmens required comminicat ion to achieve their functions. So management need information. In thes chapter, which information is required by management is examined. System concept means that all elements in system are involved and communicate each other. For this reason communication is needed for lasting system approach and to keep existing of management information system. If information which is provided other original can not be given to the manager, he will not be able to make decision easily. Computers a're not essential for management information systems but they can be very useful.
