Özet
Bu çalışmada, adsorban olarak kalsiyum silikat kullanılarak sulardan arsenik giderilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Kalsiyum silikat için su ve spacer (dietilenglikol) varlığında olmak üzere iki çeşit üretim gerçekleştirilmiştir. Arsenik giderme verimleri karşılaştırılarak hangi kalsiyum silikat çeşidinin kullanılacağına karar verilmiştir. %64,40 verim ile spacer varlığında üretilen kalsiyum silikatın adsorban olarak kullanılmasına karar verilmiştir.Spacer varlığında üretilen kalsiyum silikat kullanılarak arsenik adsorpsiyonuna zamanın, başlangıç konsantrasyonunun, adsorban miktarının ve pH'ın etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bütün sonuçların elde edilmesi sonucunda 10 ppm başlangıç As konsantrasyonu, 30 dk. çalkalama zamanı ve doğal pH (6,5-7) optimize şartlar olarak belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar kullanılarak kalsiyum silikat için arsenik adsorpsiyonunun D-R izotermi ile daha iyi temsil edilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.
In this study, it is aimed that arsenic remove from water with using calcium silicate as adsorbent. For calcium silicate, two productions, which are calcium silicate produced in the presence of water and spacer (diethylene glycol), were performed. Arsenic removal efficincies were compared and calcium silicate type was decided according to results. As a result, it was decided to use calcium silicate produced in the presence of spacer which has 64,40% yield.the effect of time, pH, different arsenic concentrations and adsorbent quantities were investigated by using the calcium silicate produced in the presence of spacer and optimum conditions are determined. According to all results, optimum conditions were determined as 10 ppm initial As concentration, 30 min shaking time and natural pH (pH 6,5 -7). Arsenic removal is represented by D-R isoterm regarding results.
