Şehiriçi Yolcu Otobüsleri Ve Şoför Mahali Tasarımı Konusunda Bir Araştırma: Mercedes-benz Örneği

Abstract

İstanbul şehrinin kentleşme ve trafik üzerine bir çok sorunu vardır. Şehiriçi ulaşımını daha verimli duruma getirebilmek amacıyla yeni önlemleri ve uygulamaları devreye sokmak gerekmektedir. Mercedes-Benz şehiriçi yolcu otobüs şoförlerinin şoför mahali kullanımı konusundaki beklentilerini daha iyi anlayabilmek amacıyla ergonomik detaylar, güvenlik, sürücü stresi ve sağlığı konuları incelenmiştir. Şehiriçi ulaşımında otobüslerin kullanım oranları her zaman yüksek olmaktadır. Bu nedenle bu otobüslerin kullanıcıları olan İETT şoförlerinin beklentilerini iyi anlayabilmek önem taşımaktadır. Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş.’ nin talebi doğrultusunda bu otobüslerin şoförlerine yönelik bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, bu otobüslerde bazı tasarım iyileştirmelerinin gerekliliği ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda şoför mahali tasarımı konusunda ortaya çıkan ana sorunlar, şoför mahali güvenliği, otobüs içi ve otobüs durak bildirişimlerinin yetersizlikleri olarak sıralanmaktadır.

Istanbul has many urbanization and traffic problems. In order to improve the public transport, it is needed to take new precautions and applications for rapidly and comfortable travel in the city. In order to understand the expectations and wishes of public bus drivers, who are the users of Mercedes-Benz busses, ergonomic informations, safety, driver stress and driver health were examined. The rate of public busses in city transport will be always high in Istanbul. For this reason it is an importand necessity to take care the expectations of the İETT bus drivers. Due to the requirement of Mercedes-Benz Turk A.S., it was done a public survey about public bus design and driver workstation design. The public survey was directed towards the drivers of busses. In that context, it was understood that İETT public bus workstation design needs some improvements. In this study, it was understood that the main problems –in order to improve the ergonomics of workstation design- are driver workstation safety, bus interior signs and bus station signs for the passengers.
