İnternet Ortamında Tematik Harita Sunumu

Abstract

Bu tezde elde mevcut non-grafik bilgilerin internet ortamında bir tematik haritayla sunumuna yönelik bir yaklaşım önerilmektedir. Nitekim bunun için öncelikle söz konusu yaklaşıma ilişkin teorik bilgiler; 2. Bölümde, “Tematik Haritalar”, 3. Bölümde “Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri” ve 4. Bölümde “İnternet Ortamında Harita Sunumu” ana başlıkları altında verilmiştir. Tematik Haritalar Bölümünde kartografyanın temelleri ve tematik haritalar hakkında bazı esas bilgiler verilmiştir. 3. Bölümde ise CBS’den bahsedilmiştir. 4. Bölümde ise konunun can alıcı noktası olan internet ortamı ve bu ortamda harita sunumuna ilişkin kritik bilgiler verilmiştir 5. bölümü ise uygulama bölümü oluşturmaktadır. Bu bölümde önce uygulama hakkında genel özelliklerini belirten açıklayıcı bir girişten sonra, İLEMOD Projesi hakkında kısa bir bilgi verilerek, uygulamanın geliştirildiği yazılım dili ASP Map ve altlık harita olarak faydalanılan shape filler hakkında açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Daha sonra ise uygulama tüm fonksiyonlarıyla tanıtılmıştır. Son bölüm ise konumuza ilişkin görüş ve önerilerimizin olduğu sonuç bölümüdür.

In this thesis, an approach is proposed for presenting available non-graphic information with a thematic map on the internet. Therefore, theoretical information related to this approach was given priority and take place in the second chapter named “Thematic Maps”. Introductory information about “Geographical Ingormation Systems” (GIS) is given in the third chapter and “The Presentation of Maps on the Web” in the fourth chapter. In the second chapter, the basics of cartography and the essential information about thematic maps are given. In the third chapter, basic concepts of GIS is explained In the fourth chapter, the fundamentals about the web and the presentation of the maps on the web which are essential for this thesis are given . The application is presented in chapter five. An application of the presentation of an thematic map on the web is realized in this thesis. In the last chapter, the general information regarding the application is given followed by introduction to İLEMOD Project, ASP Map software and shape files. Finally the application with all its functions is explained and suggestions were given.
