Türk İnşaat Sektöründe Çalışanların Motivasyonu Üzerinde Kültürün Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma Türk inşaat sektöründe yer alan yüklenici işletmelerle, mimarlık bürolarında çalışan personelin motivasyonu üzerinde kültürün etkisini ve rolünü anlamak için yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları farklı mimarlar ve inşaat mühendisleri arasındaki farklılıkları ortaya koymaktadır. İnşaat sürecinin karmaşık yapısı yönetimsel sorunlara neden olmaktadır. Farklı meslek kültürlerine sahip grupların bir arada uyum içinde çalışabilmeleri için farklılıkların bilinmesi ve yönetilmesi gerekir. Hangi grupların ne tür kültürel özelliklere sahip oldukları ve kendilerini motive eden unsurların neler olduklarını bilmek, projelerin aksamadan ilerlemesinde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Özellikle inşaat sektörünün insan gücüne ve ilişkilerine dayanan yapısı bu tür çalışmaları gerekli kılmaktadır.

This study was held in order to understand the role and the effect of the culture on the motivation of the personnel working in the contracting establishments and the architecture offices that take place in the Turkish construction sector. The research results have showed the differences between different architects and construction engineers. The complex structure of the construction process causes management problems. In order to provide different groups with different professional cultures to work with harmony, the differences of them have to be known and managed carefully. Having information about which groups have what kind of cultural characteristics and what are the factors that motivate them play an important role for progressing the projects without problems and delays. Especially the structure of the construction sector that is based on the human power and human relations necessitate these kinds of studies.
