ERP çözümlerinin değerlendirme ve seçme sürecindeki kritik aşamalar

Abstract

Bu çalışma - ERP Çözümlerinin Değerlendirme ve Seçme Sürecindeki Kritik Aşamalar - ERP Sistemleri Değerlendirme ve Seçme sürecinin proje performansına etkisini incelemekte, bu süreçte dikkate alınması gereken kriterleri irdelemektedir. Rekabetin arttığı, müşteri memnuniyetinin esas olduğu, teknolojik ve organizasyonel gelişmelerin yaşandığı günümüzde, Bütünleşik Bilgi Sistemleri, işletmeler için vazgeçilmez bileşenler haline gelmiştir. İşletmeler, stratejik hedeflerine ulaşabilmek için, zamanında ve doğru kararlar vermeleri gerektiği, bunun da ancak bilgiye dayalı olabileceği gerçeğini anlamışlardır. Kurumsal Kaynak Planlama (ERP) Sistemleri, Bütünleşik Bilgi Sistemlerinin alt yapısını oluştururlar. Amaç, işletme kaynaklarının ( maliyet, tezgah, işgücü ) en etkin şekilde planlanmasını ve izlenmesini sağlamak, elde edilen veriler ışığında mevcut durumu ve geleceği daha iyi yönlendirebilmektir. Günümüz koşullarında, işletmeler için kaçınılmaz olan bu yatırımlar, küçük çaplı yatırımlar değildir. Yatırım ifadesi ile, ayrılacak ödenek ile birlikte, çalışanlara, kurum kültürüne ve firma çalışma biçimine yapılacak katkılar ve değişimler de kapsanmaktadır. Bu sebeple,çalışmanın birinci bölümünde de değinildiği gibj, işletme yapısına en uygun sistemi seçmek ve sistemin yaşayabilmesi içim kurum bünyesinde yaygınlaştırabilmek, projenin başarısını etkileyen önemli kriterlerdendir. İşletmelerin kararlarında hataları minimize etmek, oluşabilecek riskleri kontrol altına alabilmek bilgiye dayalı kararlar vermekle mümkündür ki bu da ancak doğru ve zamanında elde edilmiş ve işlenmiş verilerle sağlanabilir.Bu nedenle çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde Bütünleşik Bilgi Sistemlerinin önemi ve ERP Sistemlerinin Bütünleşik Bilgi Sistemi içerisindeki yeri irdelenmiştir. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde, ERP Sistemleri tanıtılmış ve ERP Sistemlerinden beklentiler konusundaki sınırlar çizilmiştir. Teknoloji ve işletme ihtiyaçlarının gelişmesiyle birlikte her geçen gün bilgi sistemlerine yeni bileşenler eklenmektedir. Bu noktada ERP Sistemlerinin yapabilirliliklerini iyi tanımlıyor olabilmek gerekmektedir. IX ERP Çözümlerinin uygulanması aşamasında, projenin performansı, işletmenin ihtiyaçlarına uygun doğru çözümün seçilmesi ve alıcı firma içerisinde bu kültürün yaygınlaştırılmasıyla yakından ilintilidir. Bu nedenle çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde, ERP Çözümlerinin Değerlendirme ve Seçme metodolojisi, bu süreçte yer alması gereken kritik aşamalar ve her aşamada ele alınması gereken faktörler açıklanmış, beşinci bölümde yer alan uygulama ile bir tekstil firmasında ERP Değerlendirme ve Seçme sürecinin aşamaları ve değerlendirilmesi gereken kritik faktörler örneklenmiştir.

In this study, critical levels in the ERP Evaluation and Selection Process effecting project performance are presented. With today's stiff competition and constant upheaval, Information Systems is the pre-condition for any company that wants to survive in the future. Considering customer satisfaction is becoming indicator and the improvements in technological and organizational structures, the companies see that knowledge is essential for' making right decision at the right time for reaching their strategic targets. Since markets are changing faster than ever, the winners are those who can keep up with or stay ahead of changes. Enterprise Resource management (ERP) Systems are fundamental of Information Systems. The aim with ERP Systems is although supplying of company resources the most effective planning and tracing, also seeing current situation and planning the future under the present data. ERP investments are important as considerable seriously. Those investments comprise either finance or innovations in the organization culture. So, Evaluation and Selection process is the most important step either selecting the most appropriate system for the company and supplying orientation of organisation and creating necessary synergy during the project as mentioned in the first chapter of this study. If the companies want to reduce faults and to control risk factors, they have to use information to make a decision. It is possible to use data, which are collecting and processing accurately and at the right time. That is why in the second chapter of this study, the importance of Information Systems and the position of ERP System in this was examined. In the third chapter of the study, ERP Systems were introduced and the borders were drawn of expectations of ERP Systems. Every past day, the new components are adding into the Information Systems while developing necessities of technologies and companies. At this point, the most important thing is that defining the capabilities ERP Systems. At the level of implementing ERP solutions, the performance of the project is related of selecting the most appropriate solution and supplying orientation in XI the company. That is why, in the fourth chapter, Evaluation and Selection methodology, critical levels which has to be in this process and the factors which has to be required in every level were examined. The levels of ERP Evaluation and Selection process and the critical factors that should be considered were sampled in a textile company in the fifth chapter.
