İlişkisel Veritabanı Sistemleri İçin Bulanık Sorgulama Aracı

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasının temel amacı, ilişkisel ve bulanık olmayan veritabanı sistemleri için bir bulanık sorgulama aracı geliştirmektir. Geliştirme aşamasında bulanık mantık ve bulanık küme teorilerinden faydalanılmıştır. Prof. L.Zadeh tarafından tanımlanan bulanık kümeler teorisi, kesin olmayan ve belirsiz bilgiyi işleme özelliğine sahiptir. Bulanıklık kesin olmamaktan kaynaklanan belirsizlik durumudur. Yapay zekada kullanılan bilgi gösterim yöntemleri belirsizlik içeren bilgiyi tanımlamakta yetersiz kalmaktadırlar. Bu durumda bulanık mantık ve bulanık küme teorisi belirsiz bilgi gösterimi için gerekli olmuştur. Sorgulama aracında iki temel fonksiyon yer almaktadır. Birincisi; bulanık olmayan veritabanlarının bulanıklaştırılması diğeri ise sorgu cümlesinin girilerek analizinin yapılması ve sorgu kısmının çalışmasıdır. Sonuçlar kısmının düzeni, kullanıcının isteğine göre ayarlanabilmektedir. Bulanık mantık ve bulanık kümeler, araştırmacılar tarafından popüler bir çalışma alanıdır. Her geçen gün bu konu ile ilgili yeni çalışmalar ortaya konmaktadır.

Main purpose of this study is to develop a fuzzy query tool for relational and non-fuzzy database systems. In development process, fuzzy logic and fuzzy set theory was used. The theory of fuzzy sets, which is identified by Prof. L. Zadeh , has the property of processing indefinite and uncertain knowledge. The origin of the fuzziness is the state of uncertainty which results indefiniteness. The methods that are used in knowledge representation of the artificial intelligence are insufficient on identifying the knowledge which includes uncertainty. In that situation, the theory of fuzzy logic and fuzzy set is required on representing uncertain knowledge. There are two main functions placed on the query tool. Firstly, it is used on fuzzification of the non-fuzzy database. Secondly, it is used on making the analysis by entering the query sentence and executing the query part. The order of the result part can be adjusted according to the users. Fuzzy logic and fuzzy sets are popular resource areas among researchers. New resources are made on this subject each day.
