Özet
Bu tezin ilk bölümünde, termal ve fotokimyasal tiyol-en click tepkimeleri kullanılarak poli(benziloksanorbornen) (PBONB) polimerinin ana zincirinin birkaç farklı tiyol bileşiği ile fonsiyonlandırılması amaçlanmaktadır. Daha sonra, 2-merkaptoetanol fonksiyonlu PBONB ana omurgasına bağlı, PBONB-g-PEG ve PBONB-g-PCL aşı kopolimerleri elde edilmektedir. Bu amaçla; PEG-TEMPO ve PCL-TEMPO yan zincirleri ve (ATNRC) reaksiyonu kullanılmaktadır. Elde edilen polimerler Hidrojen Nükleer Magnetik Rezonans Spektroskopisi (1H-NMR) ve Jel Geçirgenlik Kromatografisi (GPC) ile karakterize edilmiştir. Diferansiyel Taramalı Kalorimetre (DSC) ölçümleri ile bu polimerleri termal özellikleri incelenmiştir. Tezin ikinci bölümünde; tiyofenol ve 2-merkaptoetanol fonksiyonlu polioksanorbornen (PONB) polimeri; nükleofilik (Michael) ve radikalik tiyol-en “click” reaksiyonları peşpeşe kullanılarak başarıyla sentezlenmektedir.
The first part of this thesis states the main chain funtionalization of poly(benzyloxanorbornene) (PBONB) with several thiol compounds by thermally and photocehmically using thiol-ene “click” reaction. Then, a PEG-TEMPO or PCL-TEMPO is grafted as side chains onto the 2-mercaptoethanol functionalized PBONB main backbone using the ATNRC reaction to yield graft copolymers, PBONB-g-PEG and PBONB-g-PCL respectively. The obtained polymers were characterized by 1H-NMR and gel permeation chromatograpy (GPC). Thermal properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements. In the second part of this thesis, thiophenol and 2-mercaptoethanol functionalized polyoxanorbornene (PONB) was successfully prepared by using nucleophilic (Michael) and radicalic thiol-ene orthagonal (tandem) “click” reactions.
