Mimari Tasarım Stüdyolarında Sezgisel Bilginin Mimarlık Bilgisine Dönüşümü

Abstract

Çalışma, mimari tasarım sürecinin bir parçası olarak kabul edilen ‘sezgi’nin tasarım süreci boyunca rolünü ve mimari tasarım eğitim stüdyolarında süreç içinde edinilen sezgisel/örtük bilgilerin yine tasarım süreci içinde mimari bilgiye dönüştürülerek içinde bulunulan tasarım sürecine etken olarak aktif katılımını araştırır. Bu çalışmada sezgi kavramıyla ilgilenen felsefe ya da tıp alanlarına katkı sağlamak amaçlı yeni tanımlamalar getirilmeye çalışılmamıştır. Çalışma, bir ön çalışma niteliğinde olup mimari tasarım – sezgi sorunsalına cevaplar ya da formüler üretmek amacıyla değil, fakat ardıl çalışmalara yön verecek soruların gün ışığına çıkartılmasını amaçlar. Çalışmada yapısı itibariyle kesin tanımları olmayan ve kişiye öznel olan sezgisel süreçler ele alınırken kesin hükümlerden ve genellemelerden kaçınılmıştır.

The study is the research of the active roles of intuition during the architectural design process, which is also approved as being a part of that process, and the intuitional/tacit knowledge, which is transformed into architectural knowledge during the design process, as an active participant of the whole. The study does not mean to make benefit for other disciplines like philosophy or medicine by giving new definition to the concept of intuition, which are also interested with it. This study means more likely to be a preliminary work and therefore does not try to answer the questions about the problematic of design and intuition, but it tries to introduce the questions about the field which will be useful for and shape the further studies. Absolute decisions and generalizations are also avoided in the study for the being that the intuitional processes are personal processes and for being that intuition itself does not have a clear definition.
