Beden Ve Hareket Bağlamında Görüntü Teknolojileri Ve Motıon Capture (mocap) Tekniği

Abstract

Günümüzde farklı birçok disiplinin, etkileşimli olarak bir arada kullanımına yönelik çalışmaların gelişen teknolojiyle birlikte hızla yaygınlaşması yeni anlatım metotlarının, yeni ifade biçimlerinin ve akabinde farklı formların açığa çıkmasına ve var olanın gelecek nesillere aktarılmasına olanak tanımaktadır. Tek bir sanat dalının bir ifade biçimi oluşturmada yeterli kalmadığı 20. yy sanatsal anlayışının en önemli özelliklerinden biri, sanatsal disiplinlerin arasındaki ayrımın ortadan kalkmış olmasıdır. Özellikle dijital teknolojilerin ve bilgisayar tabanlı sistemlerin dahil edilmesiyle zengin anlatım metotları ve farklı ifade biçimleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Farklı disiplinlerin iç içe, destekleyici unsur olarak kullanımına duyulan gereksinim, beden odaklı dijital performans teknolojilerinin açığa çıkmasındaki en büyük etken kabul edilmektedir. Bu bağlamda bu çalışma içerisinde öncellikle sanat ve teknolojinin paralel gelişimi tarihsel süreç içerisinde ele alınmış, performans sanatlarının içerisinde teknolojik unsurların kullanımına yönelik çalışmalara değinilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda kullanılan tekniklerden biri olan Motion Capture sistemleri, beden ve hareket bağlamında ele alınmış, dans sanatına ve hemen akabinde geleneksel sanatlarda kullanımının avantajları üzerine durulmuştur.

Today, the studies of using many different disciplines with in a combination are expanding rapidly with the interaction of technologic developments. This allows new methods and forms of expressions with different forms to be occured and transfer the existing ones to the future generations. One of the most important characteristic property of the 20th century artistic approach when a single art is not sufficient to create a form of expression, is that the distinction between artistic disciplines has disappeared. Especially, rich and different form of expressions have emerged with the inclusion of digital technologies and computer-based systems. The need of using different disciplines together as a supporting element, is considered as the most important factor of revealing digital technologies which are focused on physical performances. In this context, first of all in the framework of this study, the parallel development of art and technology is being discuessed in the historical process. Then the use of technological elements in the studies of performance arts are mentioned. Motion Capture systems are one of the techniques that are being used in this context and they are mainly discussed in this study in the framework of body and movement. The advantages of using these systems in dance art and also in traditional arts are also mentioned in this study.
