Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, yüksek konjugasyona sahip floresans ve kromofor olabilecek kaliks[4]pirol türevlerinin ve sandviç tipi kompleksler oluşturabilecek kaliks[4]pirol dimerlerinin sentezlenmesidir. Kaliks[4]pirollerin gerek pirol halkası üzerinden gerekse mezo pozisyonunda fonksiyonlandırma çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Öncelikle pirol halkası üzerinden yapılan çalışmalarda, pirol halkalarının β -pozisyonlarından bir tanesinin formil, asetil ve benzoil grupları ile fonksiyonlandırılması denenmiştir ve asimetrik kalikspirol bileşikleri sentezlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra mezo-pozisyonu üzerinde fenolik hidroksi grubu taşıyan kaliks[4]pirol bileşiği ile bu pozisyon üzerinden sisteme bağlı konjüge ürünler elde edilmiştir. Sandviç tipi anyon komplekslerinin elde eldilmesi amacı ile eterifikasyon reaksiyonu üzerinden kaliks[4]pirol dimerinin sentez denemeleri yapılmıştır. Sentezlenen tüm bileşikler yeni tip kaliks[4]pirol bileşikleri olup potansiyel anyon reseptörleri ve sensörleridir.
The aim of the project is to synthesize calix[4]pyrrole derivatives containing highly conjugated possible fluorescence or chromophore groups and to synthesize calix[4]pyrrole dimers which can form possible sandwich complexes. The functionalization studies both through the pyrrole ring of calix[4]pyrroles and both on the meso positions of calix[4]pyrroles were made. First of all, in the studies which were based on pyrrole ring, the functionalization of one of β- pyrollic positions by formyl, acetyl, benzoyl groups were tried and the synthesis of asymmetric calixpyrrole compounds were applied. Then, calix[4]pyrrole compound which contains phenolic moiety on the meso position and also conjugated compounds which were linked to the system via phenolic moiety were synthesized. The studies of calix[4]pyrrole dimers synthesis were applied in order to obtain sandwich type anion complexes by using etherification reaction. All the synthesized compounds are new type calix[4pyrrole compounds, which are potential anion receptors and sensors.
