Fatih İlçesi’nde “yeni Aya Kapı Hamamı” Restorasyonu

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Fatih İlçesi’ne bağlı Ayakapı Semti’nde bulunan ve Haliç’te önemli bir konuma sahip olan Yeni Aya Kapı Hamamı’nın restorasyonu ele alınmıştır. Bu anlamda, öncelikle yapının rölöve ve tespiti esas olmak üzere bölge ile ilgili tarihi araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Buna bağlı olarak yapının tarihi geçmişi araştırılmıştır. Bu araştırma, analojik çalışmalarla desteklenmiştir. Bugün orjinalliğini kaybetmiş ve çeşitli nedenlerle kaybolma noktasına kadar gelmiş olan yapının rölöve çalışmaları ile bugünkü durumunun konumu, tarihsel gelişimi, mekan, cephe, strüktür, form ve malzeme analizleri ile ayrıntılı biçimde tespiti, ulaşılabilen kaynaklar ve analojik yöntemlerle özgün halinin ortaya çıkarılması ve bu veriler ışığında yapının yeniden işlevlendirilerek bugünkü fiziksel ve sosyal çevresi içinde yaşatılması esasına dayanarak yapı için en uygun restorasyon yöntemi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

In this study the restoration of Yeni Aya Kapı Bath, which is situated in AyaKapı residence related to Fatih region and which has a very important situation in Haliç, is mentioned. Therefore, first of all the historical researches of the region has ben done, giving the priority to detailed description of the building and the explosion. Related to that the history of the building has been researched. This study has been supported with analogical studies. The detailed description of the building which has lost its originality and becoming almost the end point because of several reasons has been done. This study includes the determination of today’s position, the explosion of the building’s originality by the analogical systems and the studies to make the building alive among the physical and social etc. enviroment.
