Kent Gelişimine Konut Arayüzünden Bakış Ve İstanbul’daki Rezidans Konut Tipi Örneğinde Gelecek İçin Tasarım Öngörülerinin Üretilmesi

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında kent ve mekan bağlamında incelenen konut tipi, kendini oluşturan kavramlar doğrultusunda ele alınmış ve İstanbul kenti ölçeğinde vaat ettiği yaşam tarzının ihtiyaçlarını karşılayıp karşılayamadığı değerlendirilmiştir. Problemin tanımı yapılarak araştırmanın amacı ve kapsamı ifade edilmiş, tezi oluşturmada kullanılan yöntemler belirtilerek kavramsal altyapısı netleştirilmiştir. Tezin temelini oluşturan ‘kent’, ‘konut’, ‘metropol’ ve ‘kent kimliği’ kavramları irdelenmiş ve birbirleri arasındaki karşılıklı etkileşimleri açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Özellikle tez kapsamında üzerinde sıklıkla durulan ‘küreselleşme’ konusu kent boyutunda analiz edilerek teze hangi yönleriyle yansıtıldığı üzerinde durulmuştur. Rezidans konut tipinin ortaya çıkış sebepleri örneklerle açıklanmıştır. İstanbul ölçeğinde kentin rezidans tipini üretmesi ve bu tipin kente sağladığı avantaj ve dezavantajlar üzerinde durulmuştur. Daha sonra İstanbul il idari sınırları içerisinde yapılan bir alan çalışmasına yer verilerek kentteki rezidans projeleri kentsel, mimari, ekonomi, işletme, çevre ve sosyal açıdan detaylı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Kentin ve konutun geleceği için yapılacak öngörülerde dünya gelişiminde yeni bakış açıları ve bu bakış açılarının tasarımdaki karşılığı üzerinde durulmuştur. Çevre ve kaynaklar, küreselleşme, sosyal psikoloji, politika ve siyaset ile teknoloji başlıkları olmak üzere toplam beş bölüme ayrılan inceleme ve değerlendirmede gelecekte kenti ve konutu bekleyen gelişmeler örneklerle öngörüler halinde aktarılmıştır. Son olarak tez çalışmasının genel değerlendirmesi yapılmış; İstanbul ölçeğinde konutun geldiği en üst nokta olan rezidansın ilerisinde gelecekte konutu bekleyen yeni gelişmelerle ilgili sonuçlara varılmıştır.

In this thesis, the house concept that was studied in the context of city and space; was being handled and studied through the concepts that was building itself and the capability of satisfying the needs of life style is being evaluated by the scale of Istanbul city. In the theoretical substructure, problem was identified, purpose of the research was explained, ways of study were determined. City, housing, metropolitan and urban identity concepts are studied and the interaction between these concepts are stated. “Globalization” is analyzed by the aspects of the city and sides that are involved with the thesis are emphasized. The emergence reasons of the “Residence” housing type are explained with examples. The exposure of “Residence” in Istanbul and the advantages and disadvantages of this type over the city are discussed. Then a case study, within Istanbul, is handled and the “Residence” projects are being considered in details by means of urban life, architecture, economics, administration, environment and social. A new vision for the world’s development is defined for the provisions of the city with housing future and the vision’s equivalent meanings in architecture are focused. Environment and resources, globalization, social psychology, policy and politics and technology titles five chapters devoted to review and assess the future urban and residential developments with examples provided. Finally, a general assessment for the thesis is made and conclusions over the future housing developments are mentioned considering the beyond of “Residence” concept in Istanbul.
