Proses iyileştirme kavramının boya prosesine uygulanması

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to supply the use of Process Improvement Concept at shipyards in Turkey. In order to serve this purpose, The STFA-SEDEF SHIP INDUSTRY INC. CO. has been decided because of being the biggest private shipyard in Turkey. Following criterias have been observed in order to choose the process to be improved:. Having the largest manhour value,. Having so many customer complaints,. Having an important effect on work,. Having opportunities for improvement. Paint process in this company has been choosen due to having so much man hour, and of having opportunities to improve, and then having an important effect on the job. After selection of the process for improvement, jobs such as establishment of process block diagram, activity time measurements, identification of responsibles etc have been carried out firstly. Then, precedence diagram and crithical path have been determined by using CPM method. Secondly, based on the information collected, points such as, Transportation, Rework, Delay, Storage, Inspection, etc have been focused to improve. In addition to the steps mentioned above, another company that has a better way of working has been benchmarked. Diferences are notified, and better points which should be taken as examples have been defined. Finally, improvement suggestions have been explained as a result by gathering all information.

Bu çalışmada, proses iyileştirme kavramının Türkiye'de üretim yapan tersanelerde uygulamaya sokulması amaçlanmıştır. Belirtilen amaca hizmet etmek için mevcut özel tersanelerin en büyüğü olan STFA-SEDEF GEMİ ENDÜSTRİSİ A.Ş. seçilmiştir. İyileştirme uygulaması amacıyla proses seçiminde aşağıdaki kriterler göz önüne alınmıştır:. Prosesin harcanan adam saatler açısından en büyük değere sahip olması,. Müşteri tarafından en çok şikayet edilen proses olması,. İyileştirme imkanları var olan proses olması, İş üzerindeki etkisi büyük olan proses olması. Belirtilen kriterlere sahip olan proseslerden biri "BOYA PROSESİ" olarak belirlenmiştir. Proses seçiminden sonra söz konusu prosese ait akış diyagramı, aktivite süreleri, girdiler, çıktılar vb. Bilgiler, gözlemler ve görüşmeler yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Bu bilgiler ışığında, prosese ait öncelik diyagramı hazırlanmış olup, CPM metodu ile kritik yol tayin edilmiştir. Daha sonra, Pareto diyagramı da kullanılarak öncelikle iyileştirilmesi gereken noktalar üzerinde durulmuştur. Prosesteki iyileştirilmesi gereken noktalarına başlık olarak Taşıma, Depolama, Gecikme, Kontrol ve Tekrarlanan işlerdir. Son olarak, aynı prosesi daha iyi yöntemler ile uygulayan başka bir şirket incelenip, kıyaslama yapılarak, farklılıklar ve örnek alınması gereken noktalar belirtilerek çalışmaya son verilmiştir.
