Özet
Bu çalışmada araştırma bölgesi olarak İstanbul Kemerburgaz’daki Erikli Göleti seçilmiştir. Göl alanında su kütlesinin özelliklerini karakterize edecek sekiz farklı nokta belirlenerek, noktaların koordinatları ölçülmüş ve mevcut harita üzerine işlenmiştir. Aylık olarak her noktada su yüzeyi ve dibinde gözleme parametreleri olarak şeçilen çözünmüş oksijen, pH derecesi, ve su sıcaklığı ölçülmüştür. Günlük hava sıcaklığı ve yağış miktarı Bahçeköy Rasat İstasyonundan alınmıştır. Yapılan bu çalışma sonucunda baraj ve gölet haznelerinin gözlenmesinde Coğrafi Bilgi Sisteminin çok etkili bir şekilde kullanılabileceği tespit edilmiştir.
In this study the applicability of GIS has been investigated. Erikli Reservoir in Istanbul, Kemerburgaz has been chosen as polit area. For measuring the characteristics of the water in Erikli Reservoir, eight different points had been found and located on the map. The dissolved oxygen , pH and water temperature being the observation parameters ,had been measured on the surface and at the deepest end of the water for each of the eight points. Air temperature and the precipitation amount had been obtained from Bahçekoy observatory. As a result of this study it has been found that Geographical Information Systems could be very efficient in observing the pond and dam reservoir.
