Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi Ve Bir Taşıma Sisteminin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Tedarik zinciri hammaddelerin kaynaktan elde edilmesi ile başlayan ve ürünün son tüketimi ile biten bütün süreçleri ifade eder. Tedarik zinciri yönetimi tedarik zincirindeki tüm malzeme ve bilgi akışının analizini ve yönetimini sağlayan bir yönetim yaklaşımıdır. 'Tedarik zinciri yönetimi ve bir taşıma sisteminin incelenmesi' tez çalışmasında tedarik zinciri ve taşıma yönetimi kavramları incelenmiş, entegre tedarik zincirinde taşıma kararlarının rolü yeniden tanımlanmış ve bir taşıma sistemi incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde işletmelerde taşımanın rolü ve gelişimi açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde tedarik zinciri yönetimi yaklaşımının işletmelere büyük faydalar sağladığı açıklanmıştır. Bu bölümde tedarik zincirinin tanımı, tarihsel gelişimi, sağladığı stratejik avantajlar ve karar bileşenleri anlatılmıştır. Taşıma işletmenin her çağında varolmuş geleneksel bir işletme fonksiyonudur. Üçüncü bölümde klasik taşıma yönetimi, taşımacılık sistemi, taşıma kararlan, özel taşımacılık ve dokümanlar incelenmektedir. Dördüncü bölümde yeni yönetim yaklaşımı tedarik zinciri yönetiminde taşımanın rolü ve önemi anlatılmış, entegre tedarik zincirinde taşıma kararları yeniden tanımlanmıştır. Çalışmanın bu bölümünde tedarik zinciri aşamaları ve bu aşamalarda taşımanın durumu ve taşıma karar ve optimizasyonu için gerekli olan sistem yaklaşımını içeren modeller ile ilgili yapılmış literatür araştırması sunulmaktadır. Uygulama bölümünde hızlı tüketim mallan sektöründe faaliyet gösteren önde gelen firmalardan birinin taşıma sistemi incelenmiştir. Tedarik zinciri yönetimi yaklaşımına göre oluşturulan bir taşıma sistemi modeli sunulmuş ve ABC firması taşıma sisteminin bu modele göre değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.

Supply chain includes all the processes starting with supply of raw materials from natural resources and ending with the final consumption of goods. Supply chain management is a management philosophy to analyze and assure seamless flow of materials and information through the supply chain In the study 'Supply chain management and the examination of a transportation system', supply chain management and transportation management have been defined, a new framework for the role of transportation decisions in the integrated supply chain and a transportation system have been examined. In the introduction chapter of the study, transportation's role and advancement in business is described. In the second chapter, it has been explained that supply chain management philosophy provides the firm with many advantages. In this chapter, definition of SCM, its historical development, its strategical advantages and its decision components have been described. Transportation is a traditional business function that existed in all ages of business. In the third chapter, classical transportation management, transportation system, private transportation, documentation and transportation decisions are examined. In the fourth chapter the role and importance of transportation in the SCM approach and transportation decisions in the new integrated supply chain have been defined. In this part of the study, the stages of supply chain management and position of transportation management in the defined stages and the results of literature research conducted to examine new models with a systems approach to transportation decisions and optimization have been presented. In the application chapter, the transportation system of a leading firm in fastly consumable goods industry has been examined. A transportation system model in acordance with the intagrated supply chain management approach is presented and the transportation system of ABC is examined with reference to this model
