Türkiye Tıbbi Cihaz Sektörünün Ürün Geliştirme Ve Tasarım Kapasitesinin Örnek Olay Çalışmaları İle Araştırılması

Abstract

Günümüzde tıbbi cihazlar ve tıbbi cihaz sektörünün önemi sürekli artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de üretim yapmakta olan firmaların ürün geliştirme ve tasarım faaliyetlerinin araştırılması amaçlanmaktadır. Literatür çalışmasında tıbbi cihaz tanımının kapsamı, mevzuatlar, standartlar, tarihi, Türkiye’de ve dünyada sektörün durumu araştırılmıştır. Türkiye’de tasarım ve üretim faaliyetlerini gerçekleştiren üç Türk sermayeli firma örnek olay çalışması yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Bu süreçte, firmaların farklı risk gruplarında yer almakta olan cihazlarının geliştirme ve tasarım süreçleri üzerine odaklanılmıştır. Türkiye’de gerçekleştirilmekte olan tıbbi cihaz geliştirme, tasarım ve üretim faaliyetlerinin, pazardaki ithal ürünlerin ikamesi olacak ürünlerin geliştirilmesi, tasarımı ve üretimi üzerine odaklandığı görülmüştür.

The importance of medical devices and medical device industry are rising continuously. The purpose of the study is to investigate the product design and development capacities of the medical device producers in Turkey. In the literature research part of this study, the definition of medical devices, directives, standards, historical development and the state of the medical device sector in Turkey and the World are explored. Three medical device producing companies that are engaged in product development and design activities in Turkey are analysed by using the case study method. The study focuses on the product development and design processes of three selected products which take place in different risk groups. The study shows that the product development and design activities in Turkey in the medical device sector are directed towards the replacement of imported products in the market with locally produced ones.
