Mevcut Betonarme Binaların Depreme Karşı Dayanımının Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Mevcut yapıların, Deprem Mühendisliği’ndeki yeni gelişmeler doğrultusunda yeni yapılacak yapılara yönelik hazırlanan Deprem Yönetmelikleri şartlarını sağlamayacağı açıktır. Ancak yine de, mevcut yapıların olası depremler karşısında ne ölçüde güvenli olduğu Deprem Mühendisliği’nin önemli bir sorunudur. Konuyla ilgili, tüm dünyada bugüne kadar belirlenmiş herhangi bir yönetmelik mevcut değildir. Yüksek lisans tezi olarak hazırlanan bu çalışmada, mevcut yapıların incelenmesinde kullanılmakta olan, ATC-21’de verilen ‘Hızlı Değerlendirme Yöntemi’, yine ATC-22’de verilen ‘Değerlendirme Yöntemi’ ile Japon ‘Deprem İndeksi Değerlendirme Yöntemi’ ile 1998 Türk Deprem Yönetmeliği’nin getirdiği koşullar ve İnşaat Mühendisliği’nde yeni bir yaklaşım olan Performans Analizi sonuçları bir arada ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada, 4 katlı perdeli – çerçeve taşıyıcı sisteme sahip betonarme bir okul binasının değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Yapıya, mevcut yapı değerlendirme yöntemleri, deprem yönetmeliği şartları ve Performans Analizi birlikte uygulanmıştır. Sonuçlar bölümünde, tüm uygulamalar birlikte değerlendirilmiştir.

It is clear that the existing buildings cannot satisfy the regulations of the earthquake codes concerning future buildings which are renewed parallel to the developments in Earthquake Engineering in time. However, the safety of the existing buildings remains as a responsibility of Earthquake Engineering. Up to now, there exist no codes all over the world about evaluation of existing buildings. In this study, prepared as an M.S. thesis, the methods used in evaluation of the existing buildings ‘Rapid Visual Screening Procedure’ given with ATC-21, ‘Seismic Evaluation of Existing Buildings’ given with ATC-22, ‘Seismic Index Method’ of Japan, the regulations of the 1998 Turkish Earthquake Code and the results of Performance Analysis which is a new approach in civil engineering have been evaluated together. In the study a reinforced concrete school building with a system of 4 storey – concrete frames with walls has been evaluated. In the concluding section all applications are evaluated together.
