Üç Boyutlu Konsolidasyon

Abstract

Bu çalışmada ilk önce konsolidasyonun tanımlanması ve tek boyutlu konsolidasyona değinilmiştir. Diğer bölümlerde üç boyutlu konsolidasyon ve tanımı, üç boyutlu konsolidasyon teorileri, Maurice A. Biot ve Karl Terzaghi ‘nin üç boyutlu konsolidasyon teorisi, üç boyutlu konsolidasyona izin veren diğer deney aletleri ve H. Yıldırım tarafından geliştirilmiş olan üç boyutlu konsolidasyon deney sistemi hakkında detaylı anlatım bulunmaktadır. Klasik ödometrede kullanılan çelik ring nedeniyle numunenin yanal yöndeki hareketi engellenmektedir. Numunenin sadece tek yönlü konsolide olması deney sisteminin arazi şartlarını iyi modellemesini engellemektedir. Yeni deney sistemi bu sorunu ortadan kaldırarak numunenin radyal yönde de hareket etmesine izin vermektedir. Yani arazi şartlarını daha iyi modellemektedir. Bu yeni deney sistemi ile yapılan deneyler, deneylerin sonuçlandırılması ve yorumlanması, deney sisteminin geliştirilmesi ve eksiklikleri hakkında bilgiler yine tezin inceleme konusu içerisindedir. Ayrıca bu sistem ile yapılan deneylerin ödometre deney sistemi ile yapılan deneyler ile kıyaslanması, konsolidasyon oturmaları ve sıkışma katsayılarının mukayese edilmesi ve sonuçların korelasyonu yine bu tezin araştırma konuları arasındadır.

In this study firstly it is mentioned about one dimensional consolidation and the defination of consolidation. In the other sections the defination of three dimensional consolidation, the theories of three dimensional consolidation written by Maurice A. Biot and Karl Terzaghi, the other test apparatus allowing three dimensional consolidation and the test apparatus that is invented by H. Yıldırım is explained with all details. The experimental results of new system and the comments on the test results are also included in this MS thesis. The disadvantages of this system and the suggestions to develop this system take place in this study. The new developed three dimensional consolidation system simulates the field conditions better than the one dimensional oedometr test. Because in one dimensional consolidation test system the lateral movement of the specimen is prevented by a steel ring. And the consolidation is allowed only in one dimension. This problem is solved in new three dimensional test apparatus. This study is undertaken also to investigate the correlation of one dimensional oedometer test and three dimensional consolidation test.
