Mostar Ceyvan Kethüda Hamamı Restorasyon Projesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Bosna-Hersek’in Mostar şehrinde bulunan Ceyvan Kethüda Hamamı’nın tarihi araştırılmış, rölöve, restitüsyon çizimleri yapılmış ve restorasyon önerisi geliştirilmiştir. Mimarı belli olmayan yapı 16.yy ortasında yapılmıştır. Mostar’da Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminden günümüze ulaşmış tek hamam yapısıdır. Bilinmeyen bir tarihte yıkılan soyunmalığının üzerine 19. yüzyılda üç katlı bir ev yapılmıştır. Yapı 1992-1994 yılları arasındaki savaş öncesi ve sonrasında insan eliyle çok tahrip edilmiştir. Restitüsyon, Bosna-Hersek’te hüküm sürmüş olan Osmanlı İmparatorluğu ve Avusturya-Macaristan İmparatorluğu dönemlerini içeren 16 ve 19. yüzyıllar için ayrı yapılmıştır. Aynı dönemde yapılmış hamamlar ve yapı üzerindeki izler araştırılmıştır, restitüsyonu bu bilgiler yönlendirmiştir. Restorasyon önerisinde yeniden hamam olarak kullanılması önerilmiştir.

In this study, The Cejvan Kethuda Bath which is in Mostar, the city of Bosnia and Hercegovina, is examined. The history is searced from the books about the public baths in Bosnian Language. Also survey, restitution and restoration proposals are developed. For the restitution proposals, the Cejvan Kethuda Bath and the other 16th century baths are compared. The traces which could be found on the body of the bath is analised. Restitution is contains two Empires periods; first one is the Ottoman and the other is the Austro-Hungarian period. It is proposed that to use it as a public bath again.
