Özet
Bu çalışmada, klasik konsolidasyon deneyine göre üstünlükleri olan sabit deformasyon hızlı konsolidasyon deneyi ile klasik konsolidasyon deneyleri yapılmış elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Samsun-Çarşamba Havaalanı uçuş pistinin inşa edildiği sahada yapılan sondajlardan ve araştırma çukurlarından elde edilen mavi renkli, yumuşak kıvamlı kil zemin üzerinde organik madde miktarını yok etmek için çeşitli yakma işlemleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yakma işlemi sonucunda elde edilen malzeme üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca dane boyutunun değişmesi ile konsolidasyon özelliklerinin değişimi incelenmiştir. Beş farklı tipte numune üzerinde toplam altı adet klasik konsolidasyon ve yirmi adet farklı hızlarda gerçekleştirilen sabit deformasyon hızlı konsolidasyon deneylerinin sonuçları uyum içerisindedir. Sabit deformasyon hızlı konsolidasyon deneylerinde hız değişimi ile gerilme değişimleri, oturma yüzdesinin ve boşluk suyu basıncının değişimleri elde edilmiştir.
In this study, conventional consolidation tests and constant rate of strain consolidation tests were performed and the result were compared. The soil samples that were acquired from Samsun Çarşamba Airport site are soft blue clay. Those samples have 8.5 % organic content. To exterminate organic content, some chemical and physical processes were realized. Two types of ignited samples were reconstituted at a Rowe Cell in order to destroy organic content. In addition, the variation consolidation parameters were investigated with the variation of grain size distribution on reconstituted samples. Six conventional tests and twenty constant rates of strain consolidation tests were performed on five type samples. Constant rate of consolidation tests results held on different rates, are consistent with conventional test results. Generally, in constant rate of strain consolidation tests when the rate of deformation increases, compression ratio decreases and excess pore water pressure increases at the same stress levels.
