Kısıtlar Teorisi Ve Proje Yönetimindeki Uygulaması

Abstract

Günümüz rekabetçi koşullarında firmalar kendilerini ve/veya ürün gamlarını ne kadar hızlı yenileyebilirlerse o kadar güçlü, rekabetçi kalabilmekte ve hitap ettikleri pazardaki paylarını arttırabilmektedirler. Dolayısı ile firmaların ölçülebilir amaçları doğrultusunda performanslarını arttırabilmeleri günümüzde oldukça önem kazanmıştır. Bu tezin ilk bölümünde sistemlerin ve proje sistemlerinin sürekli iyileşme ve performanslarını arttırma konusunda yeni bir yaklaşım getiren Kısıtlar Teorisi konusu ele alınmıştır. Kısıtlar Teorisi, sistemlerin işleyişine bir zincir gibi bakıp, sistemin performansının zincirin en zayıf halkası kadar olduğunu ve sistemin genel performansının sadece bu en zayıf halkayı iyileştirmekle mümkün olacağını savunan metodolojidir. İkinci ve son kısımlarda ise Kısıtlar Teorisinin firmaların proje yönetim anlayışına getirdiği yeni yaklaşım olan Kritik Zincir Proje planlaması ve bu yeni proje planlama ve yönetim tarzının firmalara getirileri incelenmiştir.

In the world of competition, the firms can survive in their market as long as if they can improve their performance to reach their overall goal and if they can continuously renew themself and their products. Thus it has become more important for the firms to improve their performance to reach their measurable main goal. In the first section of this thesis, the Theory of Constaints has been explained. The Theory of Constraints is a performance improvement metodology which thinks the systems as a chain. Also states that the overall performance of this chain is up to the weakest ring of the chain. Therfore overall performance improvement of this chain is possible with improving the weakest ring only. In the last sections, application and the benefits of the Critical Chain to the projects and firms are inspected.
