İnşaat/mimarlık Şirketlerinin Ekonomik Kriz Yönetim Stratejilerini Belirlemeye Yönelik Alan Çalışması: İstanbul Örneği

Abstract

Dünya şartlarının ve Türkiye’de yaşanan önemli olayların etkileri ile 2000’li yılların başlarında Türkiye ekonomisi ciddi şekilde düşüş yaşamıştır. Bunun sonucunda, devletin ekonomi ve yasalarla ilgili politikalarına bağlı olarak çalışan tüm alt sektörler olumsuz etkilenmiştir. Günümüz dünyasının şirketleri için artık vazgeçilmez bir kabul, krizlerin kaçınılmaz olduğudur. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada farklı krizlerin tanımları, kriz yönetimi süreci ve kriz yönetimi ile stratejik yönetim arasındaki ilişki açıklanmaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmada, İstanbul’da faaliyet gösteren inşaat/mimarlık şirketleri ile bir alan çalışması yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı örneklemi oluşturan şirketlerin 1999 depremleri ve ekonomik krizler karşısında geliştirdikleri stratejileri ve kriz yönetim planlarını araştırmaktadır. Çalışmanın son bölümünde bu şirketlerin ekonomik kriz yönetim stratejilerinin neler olduğu tanımlanmaktadır.The influences of world conditions and local important crisis (1999 Adapazarı and Düzce earthquakes), Turkish economy seriously flow down at the beginning of new millennium. As a conclusion of that, all the subindustries which are related to the goverment policies in economy and law impressed negatively. The key belief of today’s world should be the crisis are inevitable for the companies. Because of these, in this study, the definition of different crisis, crisis management process and the relationship between crisis and strategic management are explained. The combination of both crisis and strategic management process can obtain more powerfull organisations to the companies to rival with others. There is also a survey about the architecture/construction companies in İstanbul in the last part of the study. The objective of this study is investigating the strategies the architecture/construction companies developed and crisis management plans they realize in spite of economic crisis. At the end of that survey the economic crisis management strategies that companıes need to be gained are constituted.
