Türkiye’de Jeodezi Ve Fotogrametri Mühendisliği Eğitimi Ve Akreditasyon

Abstract

Daha etkin ve kaliteli eğitime ulaşma yolunda uluslararası akreditasyonun tartışıldığı şu günlerde, Türkiye’de Jeodezi ve Fotogrametri Mühendisliği eğitimi veren bölümler hakkında her zamankinden daha fazla karşılaştırma ölçütlerine ve istatiksel verilere gereksinim duyulmaktadır. Gereksinim duyulan tüm bu verilere ulaşmanın ilk adımı da bu bölümlerin akademik bilgileri, verdikleri lisans ve lisansüstü dersler hakkındaki bilgiler üzerine dokümantasyon çalışması yapmaktır. Yapılan bu dokümantasyon çalışması ve analizler sonucunda mevcut Jeodezi ve Fotogrametri eğitimi üzerine çıkarımlar ortaya konulmuş ve ulusal akreditasyon için belirlenmesi gerekli ölçütlerin altyapısı oluşturulmuştur. Türkiye’de Jeodezi ve Fotogrametri Mühendisliği eğitimi veren kurumlar ile yurt dışında karşılık gelecek kurumlarda verilen eğitim karşılaştırılmış, farklılıklar ortaya konarak çeşitli öneriler sunulmuştur.

Today, a discussion over the issue of international accreditation is on the agenda of many institutions. The objective is to reach a more effective and quality education. Thus, more comparison criteria and statistical data than ever about the departments of Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering in Turkey are needed. The first step to obtain this information needed is to document the academic information of these departments and the lectures given at graduate and post-graduate levels. In this study, such documentation has been realised. As a result of this documentation work and analyses carried out, some conclusions over the current Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering education have been drawn, and an infrastructure of the criteria required for a national accreditation policy has been formed up. Furthermore, the institutions giving Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering education in Turkey have been compared with the institutions abroad giving equivalent education. Through this comparison the differences have been determined and some suggestions made.
