Hıgh Tech Mimarisi Ve Organik Hareketin Doğuşu

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, mimarlık ve yüksek teknolojinin ortak bir platformda buluşması sonucunda ortaya çıkan high tech mimarisi ve günümüzde tanımının yapılmasına çalışılan bir organik hareketin gelişim süreci incelenmektedir. Bu doğrultuda high tech mimarisinin oluşum süreci, karakteristik özellikleri ortaya konmuş ve konu ile ilintili farklı ölçekteki örnekler mercek altına alınmıştır. Bu noktada Hong Kong Bankası ile olgunluk aşamasına ulaştığı düşünülen high tech hareketi daha sonra organik yapılanmalara karşı belirgin bir yönelim sergilemiş ve bu alanda kimi geçiş dönemi tasarımlarını ortaya koymuştur. Bu noktada farklı bir bakış açısı yakalamak adına organik bir mimarinin tanımlanması amacıyla non-lineer bilimin keşfi üzerinde tanımlamalar yapılmış ve kaos teorisi ele alınmıştır. Son olarak high tech döneminde mimarlık ile buluşturulan teknolojinin organik bir mimarlıktaki yeri, mekanik teknolojinin yerini bilgisayar teknolojisinin alması ve yeni non-lineer bilimin organik mimarlığı ne şekilde etkileyeceği Frank O. Gehry’nin ve Peter Eisenman’ın deneysel tasarımları ışığında ele alınmıştır.

In this research, we aim to investigate the high tech architecture resulting from the colloboration of both architectural and high technological disciplines in the same platform and the development process of an organic movement that is to be defined recently. Within the process, the history, the developing of the high tech architecture, the characteristics are to be explained and the examples in various scales related with the subject are observed. At this point the high tech movement reaching maturity with the completion of the Hong Kong Bank project, starts to display a definite lean towards organic structures and comes up with various designs within this field. Mean while, in the name of catching a different point of view, aiming to define the new organic architecture, some other definitions are made on the subject of the invention of the non-linear sciences and in doing this, the chaos theory was specifically examined. In the end, the positioning of technology, which is celebrated during the high tech period, in organic architecture, the fact of the mechanical technology being substituted by computer technology and the way the new non-linear science affects the organic architecture are all held within the experimental designs of both Frank O. Gehry and Peter Eisenman.
