Proses Tipi Üretim Ortamında Erp Paketi Kullanarak Bpr Çalışması

Abstract

Günümüzde şirketlerin rekabeti son derece artmış ve şirketler kalite, zaman ve maliyet kriterlerine odaklanmak zorunda kalmışlardır. Müşterilerine kaliteli ürünü ve servisi diğer rakiplerden daha ucuza ve daha hızlı verebilenler, yarışta bir adım öne geçmişlerdir. Ancak müşteriden gelen taleplere göre kendini yenileyebilen şirketler bu yarışta önde kalacaktır. Rekabetçi piyasada değişikliklere anında tepki verebilmek için, hızlı, çevik olmak ve bilgiyi işletmenin tüm birimlerinde paylaşmak gereklidir. Piyasa koşullarındaki değişikliğe tepki, şirket organizasyonunda, ürünlerinde, hizmetlerinde veya iş süreçlerinde değişikliği gerektirebilir. Böyle değişiklikleri yapabilmek için şirketlerin çok güçlü, gelişmelere açık, kolay uyarlanabilir bilgi sistemlerine ihtiyaçları vardır. Bu çalışmada, son yıllarda popüler hale gelen Kurumsal Kaynak Planlaması (ERP) Paketi kullanarak İş Süreçlerinin Yeniden Yapılandırılması (BPR) konusu anlatılmış, örnek olarak Şişecam BPR çalışması ve ERP uygulaması incelenmiştir. Türkiye’de birçok şirkette BPR ve ERP projelerinin yapılmış ve yapılıyor olması, ayrıca proje maliyetlerinin çok yüksek olması nedeniyle, bu konu çok özel bir konum kazanmıştır. Bazı projelerde çok yüksek paralar harcanmış olmasına rağmen, istenilen sonuçlar alınamamıştır. Halbuki, belli adımlar takip edildiğinde BPR ve ERP projelerinin başarıyla sonuçlandığı ve yeni kurulan bilgi sistemlerinin şirketlere çok büyük katkısı olduğu görülmüştür. Bu açıdan dolayı, yapılan çalışma, bundan sonraki BPR ve ERP projelerine iyi bir rehber olacaktır.

The focus of competitive companies is on quality, time, and cost across the whole supply chain. Companies that provide customers with quality products and services faster than the competition and at lower cost are the ones that gain the competitive edge. And companies with the ability to quickly reshape the supply chain based on anticipated or actual changes in customer demands are the ones that will maintain the competitive edge. To achieve competitiveness through response to change requires speed, flexibility, and the sharing of information across the supply chain. It requires the ability to dynamically model and dynamically change a company’s supply chain, and have those changes reflected immediately. Reshaping the supply chain to respond to change also requires reshaping the organization, its business practises, its services, and all too often, its products. To meet the challenges brought about by change, companies require powerful information technology designed to deliver continuous improvements and innovation. Companies need extremely flexible enterprise applications that support the current supply chain processes and guarantee a strong foundation for change. In this study, Business Process Reengineering (BPR) by using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Package subject, which is very popular in the last years, is told, and Şişecam’s BPR Study and ERP Implementation is selected for the application. The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between BPR and ERP, to analyze success and failure points of BPR and ERP projects and to create a source for the future implementations.
