Ayvalık Merkezi Kentsel Sit Alanında Tarihi Çevre Korumaya Yönelik Bir Araştırma Ve Sıhhileştirme Önerisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Ayvalık tarihi kent merkezindeki yerleşim dokusu içinde yer alan yapıların, tarihi süreç içerisindeki konum ve gelişimleri ile, yapılardaki fiziksel yansımaları incelenerek, geleneksel konut mimarisinin sürekliliğini amaçlayan ayrıntılı bir belgeleme çalışması yapılmıştır. Böylelikle her geçen gün fiziksel şartların olumsuz etkisi sonucu yok olma tehlikesi ile karşı karşıya kalan geleneksel kent dokusunun korunması gerçeği ve birtakım önlemlerin alınması gerektiği sonucu ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Kentsel sit korumaya yönelik bu çalışmada, Ayvalık geleneksel yerleşmesi bir bütün olarak ele alınmış, plan ve cephe rölöveleri ile çevresel ölçekteki analiz çalışmalarının sonucu olarak, kentteki mekansal ve yapısal bilginin okunur hale getirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, getirilen sıhhileştirme önerileri sadece kente yapıcı bir çözümleme modeli sunmakla kalmamakta, bu konudaki benzer çözümlemelere de örnek teşkil etmektedir.

This study is a detailed documantary related with traditional architacture which is presented at the historical city center of Ayvalık and their situation and improvements in the historical progress and reflection to the buildings in physical dimensions. By this way, it s explained that the historical site is under danger of destruction due to negative physical conditions and immediate action for preservation has to be taken. In this study, which is aimed to urban site preservation, Ayvalık s traditional settlement is considered as a whole. As a result of the environmental scale analysis study and survey of facade and plans, structural and functional data of the buildings in the historical site are obtained and documented. Prepared rehabilitation proposal is not only a solution model for the city, but is also a sample for similar solutions.
