Geotekstiller Ve Plaxıs Sonlu Elemanlar Programı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, geotekstil donatılı bir dolgunun tasarımında, geoteknik mühendisliği problemlerinde yaygın olarak kullanılan PLAXIS sonlu elemanlar programından faydalanılmıştır. Yumuşak temel zemini üzerine inşa edilmiş bir dolgunun stabilite analizleri bu programla yapılmıştır. Burada, sonlu elemanlar analizlerinden elde edilen sonuçların klasik hesaplarla bulunan değerlerle uyumlu olduğu ve geotekstil donatılı yapının performansının temel zemini davranışından büyük oranda etkilendiği görülmüştür.

In the first part of this study, the history of geotextiles, its functions, methods of production, raw materials, application areas, property changings in long term and points that are important in land are given. In the second part of the study,stability analysis of a test fill constructed on a soft foundation soil have been investigated by the means of PLAXIS program. The results obtained from the finite element analyses were found to be in good agreement with the classic calculations and it was seen that the behaviour of the foundation soil had a great effect on the performance of the geotextiles reinforced earth structure. The findings of this investigation have shown that the behaviour of reinforced earth structures and foundation layers can be realistically modelled with finite element method and the predicted and observed behaviour seems to be in a quite good agreement.
