Sürdürülebilir Çevre Ve Mimari Tasarım: Mimariye Eleştirel Bir Bakış

Abstract

Endüstrinin gelişiminden günümüz kaotik ortamına uzanan tarihi süreç içerisinde çevre sorunlarının hızlı bir ivmeyle artması, enerji kaynaklarının giderek azalması ve ekonomik çıkmazlara karşın varolma çabaları gibi problemler, diğer tüm profesyonel alanlarda olduğu gibi mimarlık dünyasında da araştırma kapsamına alınmış ve sürdürülebilirlik kavramının bir zorunluluk olarak mimarlık literatürüne dahil edilmesine neden olmuştur. Sürdürülebilirlik kavramının dahi sürdürülemez durumlara gelebileceği günümüz işleyişinde, küresel ölçekten birimlere aktarımların doğru bir şekilde sağlanamaması çıkmazı ile karşılaşılmaktadır. Sıkıntıları gidermek için bütün-parça ilişkisinin ve farklı ölçekler sistematiğinin doğru algılanması gereklidir. Sürdürülebilirlik çok yönlüdür, başta siyasi çevreler olmak üzere tüm profesyonel kimliklerin ortak bir amaç etrafında toplandığı ve farklı boyutlara hitap edebilen stratejik bir planı gerektirir. Çalışmanın savunduğu görüş, bir bütünün parçası olarak görülen mekan kavramının mimarlık eleştirisi içinde, sürdürülebilirlik kavramının entegrasyonu ve ölçekler arası geri besleme ile birlikte yaşanılabilen farklı ölçekteki birimleri yaratacağı inancıdır. Araştırma, sürdürülebilirlik kavramı üzerine genelleme yorumlardan kendini arındırıp konu kapsamını belirledikten sonra, araştırmacının aktif olarak tasarımına katıldığı farklı nitelikteki projeleri, belirlenen “tasarım ajandası” ile sınayıp somut sonuçlara ulaşmayı hedeflemektedir. Kapsam dahilinde mimara ve günümüz mimarlık anlayışı içerisindeki sürdürülebilirlik algısına da bir özeleştiri fırsatı yakalanacaktır.

From industrial development to today’s chaotic setting, increasing in environmental problems, decreasing in energy sources, showing efforts about surviving in spite of economical difficulties are taken into researching extent in the name of sustainability. As the same like the other professional areas, sustainability has been included in the architectural literature. In nowadays’ treatment, where the sustainability’s concept can turn into unsustainable positions, impasse of not supporting the transplantation from global scale to the units correctly is come upon. For the solution, it is necessary to understand the relationship of the “whole-part” and the systematic of different scales correctly. The sustainability has lots of directions. It requires a strategic plan for a common aim which addresses to the different formats and which the professionals come together around it, especially the politicians. The idea that the study defends is the belief that the idea of space which is seen as a part of a whole, can create the units in different scales which is able to be lived between the integration of the sustainability’s concept and the feedback between scales, in the architectural criticism. Research aims to purify itself from the general comments on the sustainability’s concept, and after specifying the subject’s comprehensive and reach to the certain results with testing the different projects which the researcher actively took place in designing, by using the ‘design agenda’. Also, in the content, it will be found an opportunity to have a self-criticism to the architect and today’s architectural apprehension.
